Awesome vid though you are obviously extremely athletic.

front and side relaxed (distended stomach from a big meal)
This guy is a hero. All you people who think you're more athletic cause you run a 5 minute mile or whatever don't have shit on this guy. Jesus, are these highbar squats? http://vimeo.com/3305243 beaaaasstttt
5 minute mile?
try 4:07.
Don't care, come back when you can squat more.
such an american.
ever hear its not the big that eat the small, but the fast that eat the slow? enjoy sluggin along chubz.
excelling at several lifts>excelling at one single thing
Being outstanding at one thing > being decent at several. 1005 combo is pretty good, but notice his place on the list; even within his gym hes not tops. A 4:07 is state champion time. Fucking incredible.
That might be because he's 150ish pounds. 1005 at 150 lbs is fantastic for a younger person. Probably the rest of the people at his gym's 1000 club are much much bigger than him.

point taken. however...i dont think its necessarily fair to say someone who runs a 4:07 mile - ridiculous at any weight, age, race or height - is in anyway LESS athletic than someone who can lift that (which incidentally is great at specific conditions, but less so in others).
(my post was more of a defense for mOnion than a bash on ha.ck - youre both obviously athletic. )

Everyone has different ideals for athleticism so I don't think you can really define it.
And as for the 1000 club: when I graduated high school last year the next lightest person on there was 170 lbs with a 1035 total (Faith Ntundi on the picture). He's a year younger than me and is a state qualifying wrestler.
Yes those are high bar squats, they just feel better (for me) than lower placement. Even in the 1 rep max picture you'll see the bar very high. When I place them lower it actually decreases the bar's travel distance by about 2.5 inches which is ridiculous and maybe I could have put up more poundage.
