it's motd for all 3 lower leagues, but on a smaller scale obviously i hope to see west brom in the premiership next season, it's an absolute travesty that they went down and hull stayed up

Barcelona is on some serious roll on being one of the greatest teams of all time. and what's awesome is that it's not a 1 or 2 player thing, but it's a TEAM that's playing like a TEAM. all pieces of the team are as important as anyone.

Seems like Arsenal are the real winners this weekend, with 3 of the other "top 4" dropping points

Looks like United needs to buy some defensive cover in January so they can stick to 4 defenders. I didn't even know Mark Hughes was anywhere in danger of getting sacked especially after City's win vs Chelsea. Roberto Mancini did a lot at Inter, mainly winning scudettos after the match fixing scandal. He also has no idea about the English game. Terrible decision imo, these billionaire owners all turn out to be idiots. Yeah I'm not too crazy about the Mancini appointment. I hope he proves me wrong because Italians have an obnoxious way of winning (just look at the England team). To be fair though, we(city) have drawn against teams that we definitely shouldn't have. I feel good about our chances in the Carling Cup, especially with Given. I would have waited until the summer to make a change.

he'll probably get a lot of flack for it, and it doesn't help he had a horrible game otherwise, but it sets a precedent and other refs will starting calling it. it has got to the point where there are 9 players in the box when a penalty is taken. it also needs to start getting called for keepers that dont stay on their line imo. i don't think it matters if its a tenth of a second before its kicked, but when it starts to look like the 2005 european cup finals penalties something needs to be done ;/

It's a derby and both teams are in a good run of form. Fulham usually show up at Craven cottage and I love Clint Dempsey so it should entertaining. There's a good chance that Liverpool will run all over Wolves. I for one am hoping that my City puts on a show for the new boss and thrashes Stoke, but that's just for me.

![]() Edit; Whole team. The Line-Up: Buffon Cafu Hyypia Nesta R Carlos Makelele Xavi Messi Zidane Ronaldinho Ronaldo I would have taken Messi out and put Gigs in. Reason, Messi has just played these few last years of this decade. Gigs has been on the top from 199X to this day. Also Casillas to Buffon.

Messi is a more debatable inclusion, as one can argue that Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka has had the same effect on their teams this decade. The wide attacker position is really hard to pinpoint, since there are no locks on the position like Zidane or Ronaldo has on theirs. If it were up to me, I'd just give the position to Thierry Henry.
