Anyone watched the Palermo vs Ac Milan game? The result was 3-1 in favor of Palermo..

Being a fan of both teams, it is rather a mixed feeling..! Congrats to Palermo for doing so well this season. It is always nice to see a medium-sized team like Palermo to do well.

I missed it (went out drinking :D), but I don't like the result. I want Sampdoria to get the last CL spot (Cassano deserves to play in CL) and they are playing vs Roma today, so I of course hope they will lose. =/

Roma dominated the first 45. They could've, and should've, scored more than just once. And they were robbed of a penalty. This is exactly how Roma should play; Vuci and Menez threatening with their speed from the wings, Perrotta making his patented runs in the middle, Totti dropping down providing passes/backheels and shit, Pizarro controling the flow of the game with his wonderful vision and De Rossi doing the dirty work. The defence has been flawless and solid as well. And if the offence doesn't work out during a game, Toni is eady to come in from the bench giving Rome the option to just provide long balls and crosses. Roma has played almost perfectly today. It's the play of a champion. The only thing that's worrying is that they only scored once, this match should be dead but it's not. Cassano has been invisible though, that's positive.

It's incredible how much difference a coach can make. This is the same squad that Spalletti failed hard with in the beginning of the season, and now they haven't lost in Serie A since 24 games back. Spalletti and his 4-6-0 formation had his moments, sometimes they played some of the sexiest football I've ever seen, but he was so predictable and at times plain dumb with his '''gogogogogogo forward forward, defence is for pussies''.

OMG. Vucinic, Totti, Toni and Menez on the pitch at the same time. O_o That's pretty fucking offensive. Last weekend Ranieri shocked everyone by taking out both the big icons, the captain and the vice-captain, in the derby vs Lazio and that worked out great. Ranieri has balls of steel. Hope this works.

Holgerius I checked this years Serie A goal scoring charts and the only Roma player in the top 20 is Vucinic with an *ok* 13 league goals, every player in the team mustve scored like 5 each or something, to be challenging for top like that is impressive.

On the other hand, Di Natale... wow. Talk about a one-man team.
