Do you know how many players Wenger loses to injury every year? Yet Arsenal have never failed to finish top4 and get good CL results the past few years. I'd like to see Barcelona play that good if they miss Messi and Puyol for most of the year. (Sure they'll keep playing fancy but they will receive a lot more goals and score a lot less. Wenger is one of the best coaches in the world and Arsenal surely is the team with the most depth. Arsenal need to find the reason for all those injuries. It isn't happening to any other team so surely it has something to do with the players or the training style or the medical team etc; The situation really is out of hand though... van persie is useless even though he is world-class, because is always injured. eduardo is complete rubbish since his injury, and rosicky isnt the same as he was before being out. Gallas is out for a really really long time with a niggly hamstring.... its a disaster really... I mean... its like they played a 'B' team against barca in a champions league quarter final.... WTF?!..... arsenal really really need to find the source of their injury woes. I am convinced that with van persie, the EPL title would be ours easily.
Maybe it has something to do with arsenal players' body being half the body of the average EPL player? I mean look at Nasri, Fabregas, Van Persie, Rosicky, Eduardo... (i'm not talking about height, i'm talking about muscules/height) Then again you could argue that Barcelona players aren't bigger, but EPL is different from Liga, you all know that, you could clearly see yesterday how the pressing and physicality brought Arsenal caused some problems to Barca, that would've never happened to any other EPL team, then again that wasn't enough as we saw but still it somehow proves my point.

When it comes to depth, i think barca again are way ahead of all teams. Guardiola constantly puts players in and out and you never ever see all the starters play , like ever. even in CL games.
last years CL finals vs man u.... pique was suspended and i believe marquez and milito were injured so they played Yaya at CB and played puyol on the left back and they still dismantled man u, even though they were such a sick team as well.
total football?

Yes, Arsenal is playing in the wrong league. Wenger is only looking for skilled players with lot of technique.
Physical they are behind most EPL teams. I don't think Barca would fare much better than Arsenal in the EPL if they had to play against high physical teams all the time. (Because players like Messi, Xavi would get injured a lot from fouls)
Just remember how Chelsea dominated both legs in last year's CL encounter.

GO BAYERN. DEFEAT MANU!! GO MUNICH!
god this will be such an awesome night if they make it.

Rooney to start against Bayern...
|
Wow this will be the first time I wish a player will break his leg or something.
Starting Rooney is so irresponsible by Ferguson. Even if it's Rooney himself that wished to start, as a manager he has to say no.
And we clearly know what's more important to Rooney, CL or WC. I guess that's why England will never win a WC again with those kind of players.
|
wow, that's quite a gamble, imagine if Rooney get's seriously injured because Fergie rushes him into the match.
|
WOW... wtf there was news that that he'd be out for 2 weeks minimum and now he's back in 1 week..
I really thought Fergie would of kept Rooney on the bench as a impact sub if needed but what a risk to play him so early.
Rooney has the WC to play i'm sure he doesn't wanna watch the game from a TV with some stupid injury.

LOL 2 GOALS UP IN LESS THAN 10 MINS for MAN U!
|
So the question is, do you sub rooney off now?
|
lol wtf is this
i turn on the stream and it's 2-0?
good goal by nani though.. missed the first

United came to play today. If the score is 3-0 or something at halftime I'm sure Rooney would be taken off.

LOL. damn. Man U's secret weapons stash.... the reserve team. :D

I think Van Buyten or whoever was in front of Gibson blocked Butt's view on the shot so he had to react late. It would've been a pretty easy shot to save if Butt had a normal view.

I think this stream only works if you are in Brazil
