Thank you so much for bumping this. I remember seeing this thread the first time around and thinking how sick this game would be. Then, I forgot what the name of it was. Bookmarked!

Edit: I wonder if anyone wants to help me out in getting the game. I made it to http://c9.hangame.com/pds/download.nhn and I don't know which of the three client downloads I need. In addition, I don't know where to make the login so that I can download them. Anyone want to make a guide?

Wow, didnt expect a revival of this thread.

Hangame changed the links and also the registration. Due to a massiv amount of foreign players (nonkoreans) you now have to verify your registration via telephone to create an account, which is only possible if you are a korean or have some friends over there.

Right now there are 3 ways to get the client:
a) http://c9.hangame.com/pds/download.nhn, download top two files (marked with 1 and 2 at the end), you dont need the third file since this is for a test server
b) download via rapidshare. you can get the links here
c) download via bit torrent. Cant provide a link right now but I'm almost sure I saw one the other day

for everyone who is still interested in this game: I suggest you to visit http://www.continentoftheninth.info/forum/. They have a lot of guides and background informations.

You obviously have not played wow then... this game is a world of difference compared to the crapfest that is wow. Not one aspect (pvp, pve, combos, movement etc) is similar to wow in any way. Oh, except the fact that you level up. It must be a rip from wow!!

This looks to be the best MMO EVER, if it gets out of Korea. I'd gamble on it being a WoW killer if it's publicised enough.

End game made WoW great, so far not many MMOs have been able to make great end games. Criticize what you want about WoW, but to have that many people either desperately wanting to raid or dedicating that much of their life into raiding says a lot about the production value. It's not going to kill WoW, and it would do itself a favor by not comparing itself to WoW.

I felt this needed a bump because there is an English test/event beginning today. I got my key here which came with an addittional 3 keys. My friends have already claimed their own so I have an extra 3 if anyone still needs one after the link exhausts the available keys. To actually claim your key you're going to have to create a mmorpg account and a webzen account which may seem tedious but I think it'll be worth it.

So basically if you sign up now, you're entitled to the early character creation to reserve your name which entitles you early-access on June 27. Otherwise you'll need to wait until the official start of the open beta on June 30 to create your character or play.

There have been quite a few updates since the OP so . . .:
- An additional Witchblade class has been added, which has 4 class upgrades totaling in about 17 different classes (excluding the 4 base classes)

-Deathmatch - teams compete for a target amount of points where players can revive
-Relay - Teams can choose their fighter order then the player participates in 1v1's until he loses or he defeats the other team
- TDM - Deathmatch without revives
-Ranked 1v1 Ladder
- guild based competition (korea only atm) where a guild may send up to 24 players to compete
- Dungeon invasion
-Random where players are randomly distributed to instances
-Tracking where players choose specific instances
