Yeah I have no idea either, I kind of ignore WCG seeing there is no StarCraft (although following GLaDe in the wc3 is always entertaining as he pulls out some sweet games and sick upsets :D). The website is even more dead than teamaus but I do recall seeing something about everything being postponed as the funding from a sponsor was pulled. No idea why they can't get SC back in Aus and just use Online qualifiers - look at the Aus tourney 16 players without much organising on my or iCCup's behalf and that was on a weekend where people had work and things planned with 1 week notice.

Yeah well I'd love to help out with events such as an Aus v England grudge match in SC, or Aus v NZ and all fun things like that as I think the SC playercount is there and there is some talent, but of course latency is a huge problem for us.

I think SC2 should be fine, because not only will the SC and WC3 communities (which were strong for Aus at times with Leg, GLaDe, PhilBoT, etc.) come together but internet will hopefully be getting better, latency problems alleviated and the huge dota communities might be interested
