Holy crap, I got some good scores tonight. Beating a score by 100k in mania is a huge jump. And it's not like in standard where a single miss can literally half your score. 100k is literally 1/10th of the maximum possible score on a given map. Keep in mind, I've played croiX quite a few times, but lost a bunch of local scores over time. However, I've literally only played that Qualia map twice.

Streaming at 120? Why bother wasting bandwidth by going above 60fps? No idea what bitrate you're using, but that kind of fps presents a pretty big tradeoff in terms of bandwidth vs quality...

Being in a post vs in a signature etc. won't make a difference. The way those things work is that when osusig gets an http request for that file, it actually runs a script (most likely php) which generates that image and sends the generated image to your browser (well, that's the naive way. It probably generates the images on a schedule and then simply caches them for quick retrieval since they're not meant to update live anyway).

Because i have like 5 viewers and 3 of them have 144hz screens as well as me (who has the VOD) - and also because there's no 120fps osu streams anyway. Different is good.

Well, he has 12k plays in the last 2/3 months, so the second rise doesnt seem really weird. I strongly suspect he has played osu before his acccount was made, because he has a little too much 2012 ranked maps in his top ranks. It sounds like a player who stopped playing some time ago, and returned to the game, using this account, he used to have as a smurf.
It may seem farfetched, but the reason I'm playing on DeViezeMan right now instead of yorickblabla is pretty much the same.

They are kinda strict with multi accounters, i have read a lot on twitter, r/osugame etc and it seems like a pretty bad idea to talk about it publicly. Someone told me that there is even stuff like comparing which skype name you are logged into when the game checks your processes list during score submit, in order to catch people with 2 accounts

I think it's not so bad doing what you did, but try not to advertise it (: they are very crazy strict if you ever got banned for any reason.

Yeah, they are definitely strict about multi-accounts. They won't necessarily ban you, but it's a strong possibility too.

If osu did something like scraping your skype name though, that would be a serious issue IMO. I'd certainly be telling peppy to fuck right off if he was doing that. (Interestingly enough I was very vocal about some issues with mania to the point where he actually asked why I stopped later. Messaged me ingame out of the blue.)

Having been caught multi-accounting will also prevent you from being a BAT and such (I've seen a BAT directly confirm this while discussing potential candidates).

Quite happy with this FC (well, cut out section of a map FC :D)

It's 136bpm (272 half beat) and not one of those maps that makes you only hit like 3 circles in a row, it often does 6 and it has a few longer parts

Oh god, the spaced streams in that are pure evil. I used to use that song as practice for spaced streams. Never was able to pass the damn thing though. I was getting close, but could never quite finish the song.

They give more for 98-100% acc, but with this kind of speed and OD i'm not capable of achieving that. There are plenty of maps where i can achieve it that are worth just as much without the brick walls added to them

I'd kinda like some challenging maps that i could potentially get ~200pp for that are not really high OD - i've been playing a lot of them and it's good practice, but i'm a bit tired of od7-8 dt (od9-9.67) and HR (~od9.8-10 unless the song is originally od6)

Jumpy is good because i can handle OD on singletaps and it's rewarding. If i'm not completely comfortable with speed/patterns though and i have to use 2 fingers, od9+ turns maps into a bit of a headache and forces me to spam them for an hour (or even come back later several times) to be able to get a decent score - after i can already fc them - which gets annoying

It's pretty hard, because the streams have some annoying spaces. It's very good practice though, for people at most levels.

The spacing is very nasty indeed.

I started playing a few months back, then stopped after a few days, because it was boring I thought, and picked it up last tuesday (?). I'm now level 10. But I'm noob, I practically just fool around trying to kill while not getting killed and experiment with tactics. It's getting better quite quickly though. (although prob still very bad compared to average ranked player)
