For example, the average hisec carebear has trouble getting 480mil for a plex every month. They also want to put expensive modules on their ship because 'expensive=better'. The carebear featured above has been playing for about 2 years and has put all of his excess money into his typhoon fleet issue. The reaction to losing this, or any amount of isk in nonconsentual pvp is very standard for most hisec players. However its usually expressed as rage or immediately logging off and is very rarely caught on coms. That being said, it is still a great example of how the average hisec carebear reacts to losing their ship. | ||

Yeah, like when your fleet is dying to some random gang and you want to decloak your caldari covops cruiser to save everyone at the last second then the Etana can totally decloak and then throw down some reps and keep you alive until it gets threatened itself and has to warp off. I'm glad we have a ship that can help out in that niche, it's just a pity that it undoes damage rather than somehow stopping all incoming shit including tackle so the dying ship can just leave. If only there was a version of the Etana which could take all the shit off of you including damage so you could get out rather than just heal up some damage and delay the inevitable at risk to itself. But I guess that'd be overpowered. | ||
