“one of the mafia stayed to close his eyelids, placing a coin on each.” I think this was already done in one of the previous mafia games. Basically, this is from Greek mythology. Charon, the guy who ferried people over the river Styx, had to be paid for his services. The ancient Greeks put coins on the eyes of their dead to pay Charon. This leads me to believe that the mafia member that did this is either from Greece, studies Greek mythology, is a Greek admirer, or is just superstitious. I'll look through everyone's profiles to see if there is some sort of ambiguous fit.

Ace's profile says “It ends in tears” referring back to the eyes. That's an extremely weak link, and perhaps should just be completely disregarded as it doesn't quite capture the second part of the clue (remotely related to the Greeks). If I analyzed the second part incorrectly, then I guess this is a slightly better match. Death is generally regarded as some sort of an “end” and though the dead person doesn't cry, his friends and family do. This mafioso, if this turns out to be the case, is adding a symbolic element to his death by placing coins (I suppose the coins would pick up a new meaning in this case. That's why I like the Greek thing more.) on Caller's eyes Ace also says “don't blame me, you should've voted for me the first time.” That sounds similar to what the “new man” is saying. He's justifying his killing by Caller's vetoing the “free wheelchairs bill.” Latham's quote is “someone has to put back laughter into manslaughter.” The new man smirks because he finds the mayor's death humorous (or at least his statement). Weak link at best. I just want everyone to be aware that it's out there. Rage's quote in his profile is “sometimes you gotta suck a penis and get ahead in life yo.” There's a reference to the vas deferens. No analysis is needed for this one. Because it's so blatant and still slightly off, I'm inclined to believe it doesn't refer to Rage. Caller uses the word “suddenly” fairly often. Either it's a poor choice of words (more probable I suppose) or both mafia members share a similar quality. One uses knives and one shoots at penises, and the other uses his fists. Midnight gladius – this is going to have to be brought up every mafia game. Don't exclude it because the time it is thrown out the window is the time he might be mafia. A gladius is a knife. A mafioso throws a knife. However, nothing in his profile related to penises so the link to him is still tentative. I can't find any link to wheelchairs in particular. If someone else is looking, it could simply be a joke by the Godfather (or if he's really handicapped in some way, I imagine he'll be killing everyone in very imaginative ways.) http://www.freewheelchairmission.org/press/william_imagine.html There's no such thing called the free wheelchair bill, unless I'm not looking hard enough.

Edit: The infundumulum clue sounds promising. The balls, representing a man's testicles, in the dog's mouth are a strong fit for the mafioso's fetish (I hope that's not proven to be a stretch with the second day's clues) of penises. Furthermore, his method of killing the guy is by throwing a knife at him; infundumbulum's profile links to a game with the word "gladius" in it.

Also could be anyone related to Roman mythology because they followed the same tradition after stealing it from the Greeks.

*edit* Godfather: You appear to DTs as any role of your choice (you cannot change the role that you appear as after you PM to me). In addition, after Day 3, you may pm me the name of one person, and if they are not being watched they are inducted into mafia! (only 2 recruitments possible) (1) NOTE:Godfather can be killed by NRA member and recruitments are not refundable with the exception of the Village Idiot. The godfather can appear to be any role of his choice. Hmm...maybe the godfather chose to be a paramedic, since wheelchairs relates to accidents which relates to hospitals and paramedics...

On top of that, the knife missed his "vas deferens," a tube which is actually inside the body and carries the sperm from your testicles to your wang. It might be a clue, but it doesn't point to me. so i'm just going to stop you guys before you get too far into that. How is this not a veeeeeeery strong clue towards you, you have a link to a gladiator site with many references to weapons such as knives, the knive just missed the vas deferens which are tubes that are connected to your testies which is aka balls, your profile picture has a dog with 2 balls in it imo this is enough evidence to hang you tonight

In short: Insane mafia sees... blues as red greens as red red as green They can't see blue. D) One or more of the detectives are insane! They thus view all townies as mafia and all mafia as townies! (blues stay the same). This applies to rolechecks and the list check.

Mafia have been killing with knives since Chuiu's first game. I only put the link to gladiatus in Mafia 3, wherein it was not in fact a clue to me even though I was mafia. Mafia killed with knives in BC's game, wherein I was not mafia. Just because Gladiators use swords/daggers/axes and a mafia kills someone with a knife, it is not a clue to my profile. If Caller were to make some clue regarding gladiatus, i would imagine to be more related to something like arenas, duels, coloseum, etc. rather than something as simple as "he used a knife and infun has gladiators in his profile, brilliant!!" I think I understand now how ShadowDrgn feels. also i'll split some hairs here. the vas deferens is outside your testes. it connects them so it's like an in between kind of thing. yeah obviously it's related to balls and the dog in my profile has 2 tennis balls and guys have 2 balls so holy shit it must be me right? you're trying to get my lynched on one night of flimsy evidence, you can go ahead and try and prove me wrong here, but i think most experienced players know it's better to lynch on behavior rather than the first round of clues which are almost always useless until later on. edit: spelling
