Their players have never had the experience of being in a title race and playing a second half of a premiership season that matters. Despite that, Cesc Fabregas is rivaling Kaka as the best midfielder in the world, the kid is absolutely amazing.

what makes Zidane so impressive is that he gets the ball dribbles past one or two guys and then passes on to the better positioned teammate you didn't see these 50 meter runs a la c.ronaldo/messi/ronaldhinio
for me it somehow looks like that his (amazing) tricks are "necessary", like if they needen't to be done he wouldn't do them he avoided dribblings if he can pass to another player
(it's difficult to express myself, I hope it's clear what I mean ...)
he moreover was quite a fighter, he played very well in defending

Materazzi agrees with you there.
I haven't seen the match yet (since the dutch tv showed Schalke-Barcelona), but C. Ronaldo scored again last night, making his record for this season even more impressive. He is just amazing this season.
Manchester - Barcelona for the semi-final is gonna be immense, although I believe that Barcelona have to improve quite a bit if they don't want to be eliminated. Manchester are the favourite for winning the CL right now.

fuck Materazzi, he totally deserved it he should have broken his nose only bad thing is that France lost in the end

MU down 1-2 right now against Boro.
Vidic's absence is really, really visible here. Sloppy defending.

2-2 they're bringing it back as Rooney scores

good equalizer, great job by park, this result makes the race a lot more uncertain now, the game vs chelsea will be sooooo unbelievably important, and unfortunately it will be away for united and chelsea hasn't lost at home since I don't even know how long, 2 years maybe.
|
and yea vidic is sorely missed, can't remember the last time united gave up 2 goals. Ferdinand had to be subbed, hopefully it's nothing major.
|
Actually, Chelsea hasn't lost at home ( in the league ) since february 2004, when they lost 2-1 to Arsenal in their unbeaten season.

ya chelseas home statistic is just too amazing.. I think its like 78 games in a row without losing now..

wow, Juventus just lost 2-3 to Palermo after having played maybe the best half time (the 2nd half) I've ever seen by juve so far, they were losing 2-0 after 1st half, then 45 minutes of full aggression and 2-2 , then Palermo scored in the very end

there was a time where teams would have paid ~ 100 mil €'s for Ronaldinho !?
I dislike Rijkard so much.. he is just.. dunno..

Rijkard is an idiot 20-30 million for Ronaldinho? wow

great game between blackburn and man utd today, it really looked bad for united until tevez scored. Friedel seems to really turn it on during important games, I remember him having these kinds of performances all the time vs United and Arsenal. Anyway, game at stamford bridge will decide all.
