The fact that some of the PS exclusives may hit PCs later down the line is an intriguing thing for people to consider as well. Have they though? I’ll be 31 next month and I remember as a kid having to save the pocket money for my PS2 and Blozzard games which were like around 40 quid or so, now it’s high 40s thru 50s for current gen new console games. The PC market got considerably cheaper for sure but against inflation games are pretty static in cost on consoles if not cheaper factoring that in. I’m not in a huge rush to get a PS5 but I’ve skipped the whole PS4 gen and my friend moved to my area with his collection and we do game nights, so game nights and swapping would be pretty fun (I have a Switch), plus I lack things like a Blu Ray player. There are some real must-plays I’ve missed in the current generation that I need to get caught up on, plus the next gen will bring some quality too! May have to upgrade my PC one day but really Starcraft is all I play there, it’s too underpowered for top end gaming now but still serves me very well as a general workhorse.

@WombaT: That's generally true when factoring in inflation, but the prices still went up. Remember, it's only been 20 years since PS2 launched. We've gotten 3 generations that went from 50$ to 70$ or somewhere around there. With each new generation, the prices have gone up 5-10$ each time.

If you didn’t get a chance to snag a PlayStation 5 when initial pre-orders went live last week, you’ll have a chance to try and buy one tomorrow. GameStop says it will have additional PS5 stock available to pre-order on September 25th both online and in store. We are pleased to announce that further quantities of PS5 consoles will be made available to pre-order at https://t.co/hfsGYTcy0V and in GameStop stores tomorrow, Friday 9/25. pic.twitter.com/EbRMkAe5RW — GameStop (@GameStop) September 24, 2020 In a subsequent tweet, the retailer said it’s working on securing more Digital Edition units for people to pre-order, but tomorrow’s availability will only include the more expensive $499 model with disk drive. Neither tweet mentions when online pre-orders will go live. So we’ve reached out to the company for more information and we’ll update this story when we hear back. To say the initial batch of PS5 pre-orders left people disappointed would be an understatement. While pre-orders were supposed to be available on September 17th, many retails started let people reserve a console as soon as Sony’s showcase event ended on the 16th. The company ending up apologizing for what happened, and said more units would be available to pre-order in the coming days. The PS5 officially goes on sale on November 12th.

Then also there is someone who has 450+ watchers, 73 bids, and it is bidding for $60,400.00 for the Digital download console version. What is wrong with people. lol https://www.ebay.com/itm/Playstation-5-Disc-Version-PS5/154096228243?hash=item23e0d9d793:g:SUYAAOSwmoNfZ6~f Check this out for a good laugh.
