Robben contract ends in 2008, so Chelsea has the last word. I don't see any illegal approach there, other thing is R.Madrid offering him a new contract after 2008, because not being on his last year of contract that's illegal.

god robben could have been so incredibly good if he hadn't struggled with lack of playtime and injuries the past couple years.. he was sooo significant in chelsea's first league win, I think I recall that they scored like 3 times more goals in the games where he played than in the other ones, and that he was a large part of the reason. sucks that he's not playing every week

i think its mostly his injuries tho, i can hardly remember moments where he was not injured >.<
okok, except for the 1-2-3 matches in between injuries >_<

He is very vulnerable to injuries and I think he lacks fighting spirit sometimes, but probably all of that is less important than his skills.

he seems a bit lightweight for the premiership, and i dont think hes ever regained hes confidence since he broke hes ankle vs blackburn in hes first season with chelsea, strictly chelsea point of view here, the form he was in before he got injured was one of the best players ive ever seen, ronaldinho and zola just maybe pick him, the guy is immense, would be a sad day if he did leave...

1 thing i do find funny though is that the same story was released this time last year ... weird?

yeah lack of playtime definitely caused by injuries, but this season mourinho sorta didnt opt for using him from the beginning of the season, where he was trying to get a no-wing formation working.

yeah, i think that was mainly down to roman though because i think he brought in sheva and ballack, also dont forget we couldnt really play that formation due to injuries, and mourinhos lack in faith in SWP and Robben/Kalou i think did cost us the title... maybe next season you will see the best of robben, i think hes one of the best young talents in europe..
