Not the best example, but I'm just saying the adjustment problem probably goes both ways.
well agreed 99%: the adjustment problem goes both ways... rossi did GREAT at parma (but parma is not a "big team", and rossi is a young italian school striker, even if at man.utd in the last yrs) corradi fails at man.city (? not sure), montella fails too
but what i was pointting out is a sort of "common sense" here in italy in which ALL the big teams, those who wants ompetitive in serie a, dont even think about to buy a striker from premierleague

Adding to nvn list, Henry from Juv->arsenal, an obvious case where one did not make it in Italy but is a star in EPL now.

Well, as far as I know, he was in born and raised in the states till around like 14 or 15, when he moved to Italy when offered a youth team deal at Parma, and a little over a year later, United brought him over to England when he was 16 and he stayed there for 3 years until now.
So although he does play for the Italian Youth National Teams... I can't say he's exactly got tons of pure ITALIAN style of soccer from his background.

I remember reading somewhere that the coach said that was probably his biggest mistake in his career. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

true: he was bringed in europe by parma, whe he was 15 then moved to man.utd
edit. for those interested in this topic, this is your site for italian soccer http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/ , it gives a continuos information on every (true and more often not true) suppose movement

true, he was in italy for only a short time, but 15 is probably the time you are most capable to adapting and learning something new. He has not make his mark in EPL yet so we will see. The thing about Henry is that he went to Juv as a left winger, where he has played all his life previously. Only Wenger know something about him being a forward because Wenger knew Henry way back in the Marsille day or whatever(I haven't really watch football at that age -_-" maybe I am wrong).

France Football says Henry to Barça is half done. Barça will pay him 10m € (40% more than Arsenal) but Arsenal is asking 30m and Barça offers 25.
|
looks like tevez might be joining inter milan now...none of the premiership teams seem to want to put up the 40 million asking price.
|
Ey Raidern.. What about Eduardo Ratinho and Willian from Corinthians? Are they any good ?
|
Juve Want Tiago from Lyon, But Lyon asks for 18M € for him. Eduardo Ratinho and Willian will probably come to Benfica in exchange for Anderson (Defender Center) and some moneyz :O Oscar Cardozo is linked with Porto and Gladstone is going on a loan to Sporting. Figo will play one more year in Inter. Everton wants manuel fernandes but benfica asks too much money (10M). He's been on loan in everton for the past hal year.

Trezeguet is linked with Liverpool and arsenal
|
Dudek is linked with Real Madrid ! LOL
Go Barca ! (=
|
i don't watch corinthians (they play for corinthians, ratinho and william) last time I saw william he sucked HARD at south america sub20 in the beginning of this year, but they say he is playing well for corinthians now, is one of their key players etc.
ratinho I never payed any attention to him, only know his name
|
trezeguet to the EPL?? that would be pretty cool...he used to be among the elite strikers back in the day...and real madrid, funny shit...
|
Henry to Barca may be fake. It is reported in 3rd person. There's no quotes or shit.
Trezeguet lately for the last few years in the eyes of the public, is someone who botches up everytime they watch him. Yeah, I still do remember him being a great scorer last time.
I read that Arsenal are attempting to get Trezeguet. He is also Henry's French teammate and also because that Henry wants a big signing to keep him at the club.
Last quote from Henry "I am for now an Arsenal player."
