Ok so I've been playing a character a day since release, I've never really tried Dhalsim in the previous games but damn he's fun and the redesign is amazing. I'm pretty sure I'll main him along with R. Mika. Ryu was also a lot of fun but I can't see myself playing him long term. Really great game so far.

I've added myself to that OP list and would love to play some sets with anyone here, I'll likely be playing the flavor of the day until I'm done with all 16 but it's all good.

We could try some games Wesso, I've just started with SFV. I've quite a bit of playtime on 4 though.

Ophe beat me pretty bad, but I had fun. I made a list of my most glaring weaknesses from those games

Does anyone else have the issue where your rivals are always shown as online even if they're not? Also played against a friend from Florida earlier and I'm in Sweden it was really smooth surprisingly, this netcode is definitely a keeper if both players are setup right.

The funny thing is that I've ONLY had problems with people who are within the US and that's a very small portion. It's maybe 1 out of every 10 US games lags a little at the beginning, then improves.

Everyone i've played from a different country however has been completely smooth. I'm pretty impressed.

Daigo - Ryu
Infiltration - Nash
Fuudo - R. Mika
Tokido - Dhalsim
Bonchan - Ryu
Kazunoko - Cammy
Momochi - Ken
Poongko - Cammy
Mago - Karin
Kichijoji Ken: Ken
Sako - Karin
Nuki - Chun-Li
Haitani - Necalli

im surprised that Infiltration is the only Nash among them. Then again he's going to play all characters.

was there anything different about daigo's stream vs a topanga stream? i felt like it was about the same stuff but maybe i missed out on some things since i wasnt paying 100% attention and the english translation guy wasnt the greatest.

This game made me realize that I was never really good at fighting games. I was only good at using certain characters and abusing techs like Yun's safe pressure/mixup and SF4 Cammy's frame trap. I'm so terrible at making reads and knowing when to take risk.

He got accepted into Todai while playing fighting game full time. English is probably easy for him.
