They seem to be working on scaling up the bandwidth... Also - for newer players, wanted to show this: Can't confirm what was done in video works though ;l It does work - on the 6th respawn of the starters, PICKACHUUUUUu also pawned and that was autocorrect

All pokémon of a certain type have the same maximum CP, regardless of what their CP was when you caught them. Basically, a 100 CP Charmander and 450 CP Charmander have the same maximum potential, and that is determined by your trainer level. It’s still best to keep the higher CP one, though, because you’ll save yourself resources powering it up in the long run. apparently there are hidden "IVs" and not all pokemon are made the same. some have more potential than others.

- I'm at level 25 as a F2P in a suburban area. - Pokedex is at 91. (3 evolves within 10 candy) - Here are my top pokemon so far: http://i.imgur.com/s2dT8Rc.png - Also I found a perfect IV Magikarp (15/15/15) but I don't live anywhere near a water spawn so I need to hatch like 30 more magikarps out of eggs. rip. http://i.imgur.com/zkuIy5n.png How are you guys doing so far? edit: since I figure its worth mentioning, i live in ohio and about 60% of what I've caught is weedle/rattata/pidgey, and then another 18%~ is venonat/caterpie/eevee. There's a spreedsheet that was posted the other day that you can use to find the IV's. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wbtIc33K45iU1ScUnkB0PlslJ-eLaJlSZY47sPME2Uk/copy

my CP 1600 vaporon is 95.6% perfect (15-13-15) my CP 145 magikarp is 88-93% perfect the rest i tested are less than 75%. my pika is less than 50% (sad days). so, should i upgrade my vaporeon even though its still pretty low? it says max cp is 2820. lots of evees around.

I don't have enough statistical data to mathematically back it up. But 15 IV for attack on Eevee's seems very common for some reason. My friend had 7/7 Eevee's with 15 Attack IV's and I only have 2 that don't have 15. My only pokemon over 90% are the Vaporeon, Flareon, Victreebell (But it's moveset is ass) in that first image and my Magikarp. ![]() The max stat is the maximum possible CP with perfect IV's, afaik. It's within a 0.5% margin of error from what it seems. There's also a few more websites that I use a ton, I'll post them just incase they havent already been posted in the thread somewhere. http://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/ Pretty much has datamined all of the information you could want about the game. Including egg pools, IV's, move dps, max CP's, trainer XP, level cap, etc. https://pokevision.com google maps style radar scanner.

I have a dratini which is 15/14/14 and that one is going to be a dragonite. I've caught like 10 so far and none of the others has even beaten the 80% mark so it's almost certainly going to become a dragonite.

If you have a high IV poke and are doing gyms for the F2P coin -> incubator/luckyegg route then it's pretty worth it to power up 1-2 pokemon you use to taking down gyms to just lower the amount of time needed to grind a gym open. Also unless you need the candy to stack an evolution spree, or need the bag space, it is well worth it to keep all of your random shitty pokemon of varying CP levels around. They're really helpful to train up at friendly gyms, since you get +500 prestige when you're at or lower than the CP level of the pokemon you defeat. After they get low then you can transfer them out since it's a waste to use potions on anything other than the strongest pokemon you use to break gyms. Holding a gym is also not really worth it if you can hit up like 5-6 takeovers in a short amount of time, just defend the gym with whatever leftovers until it gets low and then transfer them. Basically treat your pokemon like disposable cage fighting slaves and you'll grind e-money out of them in no time.
