good weekend. racked up like 40km on the larv. caught a shiny magikarp, two pupitars (just walking), a larvitar, a typhlosion and a lot of rocks. lost like two lbs., wife yells at me less while we are exercising, dogs are less round, buried two corpses, everyone has already stopped reading.

lol that did make me read over the end twice. couldn't figure out the corpse thing metaphorically then realized i needed to pay closer attention to the last bit. congrats on the weight loss and pokemon progress

Ouch. I'm still holding out on my next evolve for a shiny or 800 candy and i'll try again for something better than bite/crunch. So demoralizing to spend 400 candy on the worst moveset.

Doesn't matter. Throw him in a gym and he'll sit there until someone decides to take him out. Once someone has made that decision, moveset doesn't matter. All men must die.

he is proudly sitting at the bottom of a gym right now (CP 1800), showing his true valor colors. havent decided whether to upgrade him given he is 60-80% IV with a shit moveset. he'll never be at the top of a good gym, and wont be used as an attacker.

Eh, I feel like you may as well follow the golden rule of the game and do nothing until you have to do something. May as well leave him as is until the game mechanics change and you can make him actually good or it doesn't and you lose interest or find another shiny. More than anything Pokemon go rewards hoarding candy/dust until you absolutely need to spend it to take gyms.

I still throw my Ampharos in gyms, not because he is good, but because he is cool. Sure, a Rhydon might sit on top of the gym, but I'd rather sit in style.

I got a level 29 90% IV Geodude. Hopefully I get Rock Throw Stone Edge or Mud Slap/Earthquake. Could use a good attacker of those types

Edit this event is way better than the grass one. The grass pokemon spawns were not diverse at all. I've seen every single rock type pokemon either on my tracker or in person at some point. Aerodactyl and Golem were one offs but since Gen two launch I've seen exactly zero until this event. Grass pokemon event I never saw a single evo of anything.
