Unless you have tens of gyms at hand, you have a weird definition of casual. Usual casual player do not hold 10 gyms every days.
My semi-casually playing friends in good pokémon areas (I'm in a semi-desert so I don't really count) are mainly below 30, which is 1/3 of level 35 in xp.

I've found cheap gloves that can be used even with touchscreens. Not the highest-quality gloves but they do the job of keeping your hands warm.

What I am missing currently can also be walked so I mainly do that as well. And with how much competition there is for gyms where I love, I'm glad if I can hold it for more than one day at all.

i log in for the daily bonuses and to grab coins, but sun sets by the time i get home so dont walk around as much. plus, god has decided to fix our decade long drought problem in California in a few months.....

It's not surprising that activity would drop off during Winter (for the Northern Hemisphere).

Ninatic really should just use the downtime to tighten up their game, especially the memory/CPU footprint, and push out Gen2 & new features in Spring to bring back a bunch of players.

Like no matter how good the game is a big portion of the US and EU aren't going to play heavily during the winter weather.

According to an OW caster, it got hung up because AR interacts weirdly with SK laws. Don't know how true it is.

So I've always known Vaporeon is OP as hell. But I really didn't grasp how OP until last night.

I was training this gym to go from level 9 to 10. I was using maxed out jolteon, vaporeon, magneton, cloyster, vileplume, and victreebel/machamp against kingler, dragonite, gyarados, lapras, 2xvaporeon, snorlax, 2xrhydon. I could only clear 6 of 9 twice. If I had dodged better, I would have at least been able to beat 7 of 9.
I got frustrated and just used my max vaporeon + 3 other pretty high level vaporeons + jolteon & cloyster.

I cleared all 9 pretty easily. My wife commented that Vaporeon is like Flash.

Now I don't even feel like powering up pokemon anymore. Vaporeon + good dodging is all you need (which is pretty easy to time since vaporeon attacks so quickly).

Yeah I use vaporeon for everyhing.

I have a 92% IV Dragonite with optimal attacking moveset but I still prefer using Vaporeon. The "water gun rhythm" is too OP.

I'm not going out specifically for pokemon much anymore but I check it pretty regularly. Feels like its been months since I saw anything interesting to track down...

I'm not sure what changed but my games performance just drastically improved on my 5C. Feels like I went from 360 to 720p.
