The comp map pool has changed several times over the past, notably the removal of Nuke, addition of Cobble (with major overhaul), and addition of Overpass.

I seriously doubt we'll see Dust or Aztec without a Cobble-style overhaul, the maps are just awful competitively :/

All active maps are ct sided with exception of cobble and maybe dust 2. Cache is somewhat 50/50 in the middle, but still slightly ct.

One thing that has annoyed me for a long time is cl_showpos. I never put it to 1, and yet sometimes, poof, I have it. I disable it, and it magically reappears some time later... -_-

How do you permanently deactivate that?

There are a couple of things in cs:go that resets when you restart the game, like button binds. For these things you need to have them bound in autoexec. But cl_showpos should never appear as default, so presumably you have a config file, autoexec or similar that's overriding it.

I found a cl_showpos 1; in your config.cfg
control f and change the one that isn't your bind.
You probably press your keypad down arrow by accident occasionally.

If you want to make a practice config, I suggest making a new file entirely, then using 'exec [file]' in the console. Much more organized and easy to manage.
