Uhhh, there used to be both. But S@X pulls some insane attendance for PM. We're talking like 90 man brackets for a weekly PM tourney. Needless to say, scheduling gets pretty strained when both events are held. Recently, when Melee is streamed, it's usually only winners semis onwards at best.

I believe there was some talk lately of making it a bi-weekly thing? Not too sure on this part.

That's kind of lame, at least they still do Melee though.

I've never played PM, but I don't mind watching it. But I prefer melee, cause I'd rather watch a bunch of foxes go at it (I don't really even like fox that much, bird>fox) than Diddy Kong, Lucas, Sonic, because, despite the variation in characters, those guys all have one (two?) thing in common; they are quite fast and have very good recoveries. Like Samus/Peach Melee level recoveries.

yea I calendered the event thinking there'd be Melee, but since it's probably gonna be only one or the other from now on, I'm only going to go out of my way to add the ones that have Melee scheduled. People are welcome to submit the other events to the calender though

I'm glad there is a good sized PM tournament I can watch each week. Melee often overshadows it at other tournaments so it's nice that it gets the spotlight somewhere. NEO/PGH is very anti-PM so I gotta enjoy it where I can lol.

Cosmo's one of the most popular speedrunners on twitch. Particularly notable for his Ocarina of Time runs.

He's also a pretty legit smasher. Arguably the most prominent Zelda player. He went to EVO last year, and I think he's got plans to go again this year.
