They both will. Though given the current information, Xbox One price includes the new Kinect sensor whereas the PS4 doesn't so does appear to be a better value.

Stealing? lol? If you don't like it then don't buy it. Blizzard can charge whatever they feel like, its not your right to have equal pricing.

Hello Mr. Blizzard. You should not visit Teamliquid while at work!

None of the games looked too fantastic, but at least they spent the whole time on games and barely any time on kinect games (and the one they did show was a lot neater looking than kinect-imals or whatever lol). It was probably their best press conference in years lol.
Titanfall demo'd the best although at end of the day mechs are always boring to play as. It looked like mixing some quake/tribes into CoD gameplay (what with all the jumping around and fast-paceness) and then added in mechs. Were there any real AIs in the game? It seemed like everyone was controlled by a player, right?
I really want to like Ryse, cool concept but too bad they made all the combat QTEs. Would be cool to see the same concept (giant ancient battlefields where you control squads and also fight) done with combat closer to Dark Souls or something like that.
Also most games Xone games they showed didn't look any better than current PC games (except perhaps with a lot more stuff in them (more detail, better FPS, larger levels). Sort of a bummer but hopefully this will be the trend this generation. Instead of putting all their money into making prettier games, developers will put their money into making better more interactive games. No kinect is both good and bad. Its good for obvious reasons. Its bad because "why am I paying for it?" if its not going be used.
don't be silly. The kinect is there so you can watch TV!

Hey Karl, ill sell this to you for only 9.99, even though the price tag says 5.99. If you dont wana pay - screw you.

Unless you have money to burn there is zero reason to get a console at launch. Especially when there will still be great games on the previous gen-consoles and of course PC. Honestly I only see people buying a Xbone because they want to play a specific game and MS has successfully held it hostage by making it an "exclusive". Those types of people aren't paying $500 at launch to play one maybe two games and hope for more games they might be interested in the future.
That's also not taking into account the extra charge of Xbox Gold for online play which bumps that up to $550. I await to see the results of MS's experiment.

Some of the Best games of a console usually release during the end of it's Lifetime.
Example - The Last of US :D

I believe Sony and MS have confirmed that TLoU and GTAV will be released on next gens.

Rice costs more in North America than in China
Riot in the streets!
More seriously, while I agree it sucks and is backward and whatever, Microsoft/Blizz/Whoever can choose to go 1:1 USD to EURO and there isn't much you can do about it except not buy.
BTW Karl isn't a blizz employee I've met him fairly randomly.
EDIT: I mean, the exchange rate might not be super fluid but it certainly isn't set in stone and given the history of companies taking a loss on the original sale of consoles, they probably can't afford to sell @400 Euros if the euro dips in value due to economic concerns or w/e.

Launch games are almost always mediocre. The only exception that I can think of is the original Halo.

Don't be silly, it's not like this pricing policy didn't exist far before the economic crisis. They just do it because they can.

It might not be fair but that is how our economy works. Gotta deal with it or don't give them your money.
That being said I'm leaning towards Sony for the first time in my life (I was all about the halo growing up). I can't wait to see what they have tonight.

The last console generation has taught me that paying full price for a console at launch is utterly ridiculous. Sony had basically no games for the first couple of months. 360 was much better on the games front, but nowadays has little in terms of truly attractive exclusive titles, aside from hundreds of FPSs. And with these platforms now having PC internals, the prices should drop even faster than they did before.
Anyways, I would never buy such a huge fucking console as the XB1 stands now. Waiting for XB1 "Mini" + price drop if ever do decide to buy one.

Heheh i should just come to the store, and give them 500$. If she asks for 500€ i would just say its the same.
