Did you see the Ricky vs Justin games earlier on in the day in xT? The game ended, the camera panned to the crowd, and... they could not have been more apathetic. It's a boring grind of a game right now and it desperately, desperately needs a way to introduce gems without it taking like five minutes to set up before each game. A complete overhaul of the gem system needs to happen. Cut the gem list down to 10 or 20 and make players be able to choose their gems at the character selection. I don't see any other way to make this game playable.

congrats to Team EG for their performances in all of the games this weekend, taking home almost $10,000 in total.

The german championship capcom hosted 2 years ago (I think?) was amazing. Even met a former sc player from clan [DEF].

I think the paris event is just finals event and has qualifiers over europe leading up to it.

There will even be a 10.000$ tournament in Berlin next month I think. sure thats the one at campus party, however, with 128€ entry fee for the event, i fear for the competition a bit

It's not like this is a specific fee for the tournament. Also, there's gonna be satellites for free entry (that's what I heard at least).

Same kind of stuff for akuma in ST. He is not balanced. Faster, stronger than the others characters. He would make the other shoto characters obsolete and trash the rest of the line up.

Akuma never striked me as remotely imbalanced in 3s
