That's probably the best thing about BF4. The community is basically the next CoD community, and all those people can go hop onto the next big thing while the rest of us can chill back on BF3. Maybe even EA will finally release modding tools.

I hope they return to World War 2 with drive-able battleships, submarines, aircraft carriers, carpet bombers, mobile artillery and shit. And with PC support, as I'm still sad that BF1943 was never released on PC.
Can you imagine Iwo Jima or Omaha Beach with full destruction as countless battleships bombard the defending fortress? Or watching carpet bombers tear apart a city on Operation Market Garden? It would be gorgeous.

As the console market is still mostly based off of physical media, AAA games released on PC and console will remain at high retail prices.

I bought BF3, I was heavily disappointed. I still play BC2 and I think that game is just more fun in every way.
Hopefully they'll shape BF4 more for the people who still play BC2. But I wont hold my breath...

I liked BC2 more than BF3 as well. The fact that you could bloody well destroy everything in BC2 made it such an awesome game. Dice really toned down the destruction in BF3. It's probably more realistic, but it doesn't necessarily make it more fun.

Not really realistic at all. One grenade might not tear down walls but it'd put huge ass holes in them. Mortars and rockets would not only blow a hole in the first wall but almost every other wall inside the building on the first shot. This is coming from first hand experience. There's a reason rockets are used to kill tanks, steel doesn't do shit to stop them. You think a building is going to stop it?

Looks like EA's annual saturation of EA Sports games got into their heads with other franchises. Battlefield 2 is the last game I'm buying from them, yes this is a successful business model but I hope it backfires when people start to realize EA's evils, I hope John Riccitiello rots in bankruptcy.

I am forever confused at these displays of open-mouth-frothing anger toward EA. When a company does something you disagree with, just don't give them your money. I don't understand how it goes beyond that.
