HOTFIX : 26 JULY 2012

Affected addons:
* dayz_code 1.7.2.4
* dayz 1.3.2
* dayz_anim 0.5
* dayz_server (server admins only)

Developer's Note:
* Should be used with Build 95389 and above on 1.62
* 5 second timeout on disconnect is NOT implemented, as the engine is preventing it currently

Changelog:
* [NEW] Respawn button is disabled during DayZ play
* [NEW] Optimized authentication process on login
* [NEW] Singleplayer mode disabled when DayZ is loaded
* [NEW] DayZ Logo and Version Number appear in game when DayZ is loaded
* [NEW] Hive now tracks login/logout (to assist in analysis for an ALT+F4 solution)
* [FIXED] Infected cannot hear weapon firing (now they actually hear again)
* [FIXED] Clothing no longer spawning (now it spawns as it used too)
* [FIXED] Tents and items with ID's above 1 million don't syncronize (now it should syncronize, players to confirm)
* [NEW] Respawn button is enabled if the player has a fracture
* [FIXED] Players switched to non-player skins (by hackers) sync to database (updates no longer saved for objects non-authorized skins)
* [NEW] Players spawning in debug area or "water world" will spawn on beach on next login (with their gear)
* [NEW] Client will automatically spawn player out of debug and waterworld to last known position
* [NEW] Radar removed from helicopter (UH1H will be added back to vehicle spawns)

This weekends mission for pick up group I think should be Da Choppa!

K just read from Vipeax on official forums. You want to start hoarding parts now. Heli aren't added yet. They have to be added to the hive cycle then after that is done on the next server restart thu will appear.

I guess You guys didn't read the Rocket post, he is very reserved about this patch, it is not even on SixLauncher. It's install on your own risk (server operators) kinda.

This update has been subjected to only closed testing with around 50 players, it is released to players who want to help check if this is a good update under capacity

SixUpdater will only host the update once we have confirmed we are satisfied with the update

Server Owners: PLEASE update your builds to the latest (95389) beta

Please do not grab this update, and then QQ because you can't find a server. Install to a new @dayz mod folder and use when servers become available

Just drove through an abush with my motorcycle. 5 confirmed shooters and 1 possiable cohort on the beach posing as a noob. Fearman got shot off the bike and I lived with 3.6k blood. Holy smokes it was crazy fun. Chased them to much with my bike since they were in a car.

Decently geared I decided that I would give running up North a try for my first time. As I begin to exit Cherno there was either cutting across a field or taking the long route of the forest. Needless to say I figured I could make it across the field..... This was shortly followed by a nice quiet pop sound and a black screen appearing....

Looks like im starting over again boys!

I just installed day z 1.7.2.4 and stayed on arma version 95389 and I was able to connect to US 382 extremely easily even with the server at 38 players. It went to setup completed so fast that I didn't even get a chance to see waiting for character or loading.

Thats why you generally wait a while when a new patch hits. I don't generally play the new patch till its been out a day or two so I don't get screwed over by stupid glitches.

Gah, why would they make it impossible to respawn unless you're dead/dying? this is bull.
It's like Rocket is trying to add frustration to the game by forcing you to run up to zombies and wait till you die so you can get a spawn closer to your friends.

I am very curious on how they intend to test for a solution for the alt, f4 problem. Alt f4 for me doesnt even work for me i have to esc, then manually click abort so i am pretty much dead anyways before i get the chance. (if i wanted too) Also O gawd my respawn button nooooooooooooooo!!!

I am somehow stuck on the loading screen. Is anyone else experiencing this? Might that be patch related? Because sixlauncher updated my dayz version and now i cant log into any server.

Or is my character save somehow compromised?

Does anyone got a download link for the beta patch for Arma 2 itself needed to play this? The beta patch page on their website isn't working...the entire Arma 2 website isn't working as a whole.
