Also my ping on TL server is around 180. I still would prefer the 60 ms one's in EU.
I was just joking  I don't think anyone would attempt to hunt you down or anything. I've never really noticed much dfference for ping in Arma.

Btw I want to report the server admin because there was a server restart when I got all the gear and now lost the pickup truck. Got the gear tho so no biggie! I knew you'd be back. 1 year my butt. Do you play on the TL server? if I can get into a group i'd love to join. currently 2 of my RL mates stopped playing and the 3rd i always hang out with is somewhere in Skalka i believe its called wants to stay there for 3 hours and camp a car or group and im not into that :/ Just hop on the TL server. We have the Quote/UnQuote "Casuals" group or you could call us the Pickup group. Then you have the 2 Elitist asshole groups who stay locked away in there secure channels killing everyone with their cool guns. The pickup group pretty much runs around kinda everywhere and random things happen usually. The other group Tofu's I think being the most active, usually does...... I have no idea actually lol. They do something not sure what but I just know it involves the blue van lol. Grouping is easy with the TL'ers though we have camps all over the map. I usually end up at NW airfield for some reason I am starting to like that place. Probably till I get killed there again. Also Stary is on my daily visits. Though I do have to pick up meds today yikes!!! Gonna need some company anyone down? Well I m afraid my ping would be really high so gonna look for a group of people who are willing to play in an EU server.
Ahh ok well I know Mani (germany) Jochan (EU) play all the time on our server. Dark aswell

How do I install Day Z on steam, is it in steam workshop?

The only problem i have with the ping is when it gets so high i get dropped from the server (it's one of the anti script things i guess?). Other than that, i haven't noticed any problems with a bit higher ping. And the guys at TL definitely would make up for it

we set our max ping to 300 so people from EU can play without getting dropped due to minor spikes, but spikes over 300 will still drop you

Me and a friend were playing on some german server and suddenly everyone on the server got kicked within a minute of each other and me and my friend got "corrupted memory" errors. We then tried to log onto another server, and as soon as we loaded we got the corrupted memory error again and everyone on that server got kicked.
I'm bleeding out on some train tracks and my friend is trying to find me and we don't want to lose the m4a1, coolest gun we've found so far... Being a noob at this is scary

No love for the Aussies though I sit around 250ms though so I'm pretty sweet (Been kicked once for >300 when the GF started streaming something)
