Hello fellow Mario Kart 7 players, I was surprised to find that there wasn't already a Mario Kart 7 "Community" made for Team Liquid. For those who don't know, Mario Kart 7 offers an interesting clan-like feature called "Communities". I made a Team Liquid community with 150cc, all items. The code is: 02-9935-9337-2308. Come join the community and play Mario Kart with fellow StarCraft players!

If there is popular demand for different settings I can make another group with different settings like only bombs or 50cc or something like that.

I will play, but I heard there was an option to disable certain items. If so, disabling the blue shell would be so good.

Great to see other people playing this! I'll be on this evening and race some. That bombs only idea sounds like a lot of fun, we should try that! I have no idea how communities work because I haven't joined any yet, are the settings easily changeable, or do you need a new code every time you switch something?

You do need to create a new community to change the settings. If we get enough people we can create multiple communities with different settings.

Does Mario Kart 7 feel as slow and boring as Mario Kart Wii? I feel like there is laughably little skill involved in the Wii version compared to the SNES original or Double Dash.

no idea, i haven't played snes or double dash, or wii for that matter, only 64, ds, and 3ds

Oh god, thank you. I thought I was the only one who thought this. I finished the DS version of Mario Kart and when I played the Wii version I found it to be incredibly slower o.O Which is why it was boring :/ Makes a lot of sense, Wii Mario Kart is more boring then the DS version.

Anyway......... Rainbow Road anyone?
