That is an extenuating circumstance. A centralized time would be best for the general population, as I'm sure a number of people are either about to go to sleep or are sleeping at the moment.

A number of people are also going to be awake for quite a while longer or are just waking up and ready to play. Europe and the East Coast will have plenty of time to catch up to the people who start tonight.

I don't see how the people who are starting half a day early are at a real advantage then. If the people who play on the server at off-peak hours are then not online when everyone else gets on, does it really matter? At worse the server cuts off right before peak hours, and all the night owls get one extra day. If your concern is that people who start right away will continue playing for a 24 hour gaming marathon I think the concern is a bit unfounded. The notion that those players will be at such an advantage that they can run around killing everyone with their masterswords is a bit ridiculous. So really, the only concern I can comprehend, is that you won't be playing in a few hours, so nobody should get to. The fact that you think we should make everyone who wants to play now wait an extra day just so that you can play during the start is a bit self-centered. Or is it that you think the minority of players should not have the advantage of playing at release, and instead the majority should?

Okay, I understand now why starting time isn't really a problem due to Fontong and the question Trotske posed (I didn't really have time to think of how minimal the West Coast's advantage would be), but why would you say this:

well as i said, I didn't put too much thought into it. And it wouldn't really affect me because I wouldn't be able to get on at either server launch times.
