I personally like inferno and dust as well. Mirage is growing on me, I have huge problems when starting out with new maps but it is getting better and I think I like how the map plays out. I loved Aztec in 1.6 for some reason, didn't play it in GO yet. Oh and I absolutely hate nuke. It's not as bad as in 1.6 but darn I just can't enjoy matches on that map.
After THIRTEEN years on dust2 it kinda gets stale.
Has anybody ever seen that shit happen? My teammate flipped out a little when it happened. That's DMG level too. Left click out of surprise, right click for the kill and it brings down a full HP unarmored guy fairly quickly.

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to happen in GO, in Source you needed two left clicks and 1 right.

I wish I could still use my /stopsound bind... It got a lot of use in Aztec for the thunder and rain :-p
Most operation maps seem to be based on gimmicky concepts, often purely visual, when good map design is all about the layout. Are these maps made by artists?

I said that I don't know why everyone hates d2. If some or half of the population hated it, ok. But it seems like everyone hates it but a few people in between. That doesn't sound like "people are different". That sounds more like everyone is the same.
But wayne that is not a topic that is discussion worthy, I guess we just missunderstood each other (and the problem was probably on my side, wording it badly).
