Matchmaking is fucking trolling me. I'm here trying to have fun and I can't land any shots because I'm dead the second I move out of cover. Just got a miserable game for 18-23 with just dirty fucking bullshit kills because I get my ass kicked in any normal engagement. MFW 5 of the guys are global and supreme and the rest are LEM, I'm fucking DMG at this point and I keep losing games while pulling negative scores and MM isn't wise enough to realize hey you know what after 5 games of getting his ass handed to him maybe we shouldn't make him play with fucking global elite guys who've never missed a jumping scout headshot in their god damn lives.

9 lost MM games in a row, nova 4 on a minor streak all the way down to nova 2
at least in the future I'll know to avoid MM for a solid couple weeks after a sale or maybe even an update, the amount of smurfs and 4v5s due to people lagging out and dropping is just fucking obscene

played my first MM game
ended up 15-15 tie and I was first on my team around 30-20
know enough to try to stand still & aim for the head, but going to be a while before I can consistently apply that
probably not going to use my mic until I get ranked. probably would have won another round on T side if I or someone consistently told everyone to rush either A or B

if you are playing MM, buy a mic and use it. i know at the silver 2 level (what you likely played as your first mm) it's not 100% needed but you are just doing a huge disservice to your team and making the game less fum for everyone if you can't call out where exactly you died and how many there were there.
A mic is REQUIRED to be a decent teammate. If not, you are a shitty teammate. there is no grey area unfortunately.

Most of the time, the teams are nowhere near balanced.

The only thing I hate about solo MM play is that you can get kicked too easily. Need a buddy to shit talk your teammates and call people out on shit. Or people just let their egos run wild.

Just tied a game against a blatant hacker and got promoted to MG2. Feels good!
We came back from a 3-12 CT side. We were up 15-14 and in the last round this guy on my team had like 7k left over and wouldn't drop me any guns, so I just had nades and a pistol

They really fucked up the casual queue with the last patch. For one i dont understand why the altered it from bomb / hostage selection and put all the hostage maps in an "unused" pile with a bunch of shitty bomb maps. Like, way to screw over every person ever to enjoy playing hostage casually. There is no way to guarantee you'll get to play hostage in casual now, which is retarded.
Thats not the problem though, since the patch i can barely ever join games. It just sits at "searching" for 3-5 minutes then creates and puts me in an empty bots game. Comp. MM and community work fine.

Are there less afk'ers outside of silver? Seems like every other loss that starts 0-5, a teammate has to go afk and demands we vote kick him.

Eh, its only occasional that happens at high GN / AK ranges.
When it does and there really is no hope of winning because of the tard(s), i like to grief them to the point they get so angry they get themselves banned. For example, acting as a meat shield for an enemy while he tries to shoot him, diving in front of a nade he throws, generally blocking & mocking. This made some guy so angry he just threw a nade into the group on the last round and got a 7 day ban, im not sure what went through his head, but it was fucking hillarious, 30 seconds more and the game would have been over, but nope.
Doesnt happen as often as i'd like though, generally the team just carries on regardless of the twit and i have to play :<
I havent seen an AFK'er like that in probably 20-30 games if not more.
