How do you navigate the tons of generic cave tunnels? How do you tell them apart? Have you noticed how many spots for glitching up the walls and under the ceiling there are in the caves? Last but not least, how do you deal with the insanely long distance between both bombsites? Nice Vid. I actually have no problems spotting poeple in the caves. Beacuse the cave walls are very clean the models can be seen pretty decent imho. T spawn to B with all that dark forest grass whatever stuff is worse i think. The level of glitching is indeed disturbing. Seems almost like nobody tested the map for more than 2 minutes. Oo A part from that Castle is just an incredibly T sided map. Actually the best way to play as CT is to get to T spawn asap and retake the bombsite as if you were the T's.
Thank you! You make very good points, when I was talking about the lack of contrast and the dark spots I was sorta thinking of that field/creek area between T spawn and B, exactly as you say (it was just coincidence that the video shows the cave inside at that point, I need to get more experience with CSGO video making haha). I've been getting killed from 'invisible' spots there more than in the actual caves.
And I watched WarOwl stream, he played Castle with a bunch of Global Elites and they found A to be absolutely undefendable in particular. There's no spots to get cover and Ts arrive almost at the same time as CTs. So I actually like your idea of rushing T spawn as CT and then retaking from that same super OP path a lot haha, that's very clever! (and horrible level design/balancing/testing of course)

So after playing all the operation maps now the only positive thing I have to say about them is at least I didn't have to pay for them.

You should get the pass regardless. Cases are going for $4.

Hey, I haven't played CS since the first map pack, are there any good USW servers with a large variety of maps to play on? Can be casual or competitive.

I can only get a case if I have the pass?

Yeah you only get operation cases if you have the operation pass, and they sale for a decent amount for the first week or so. To be honest the pass if worth it for the cases and the missions, you reimburse almost instantly if you get lucky and you can profit quite a lot.

As long as you play throughout the entire operation you'll make money by selling all the case drops. There is no luck involved at all.

Well you could drop 0 operation case, I don't think you 100% have to drop some, but yeah that would be extreme

My opinion that doesn't worth anything. I just played casual and deathmatch.
I kind like Rush, overgrown and castle, the others maps are kind strange. Insertion is a cool idea, but I don't think that fits on what a CS player is looking for.
Rush is kind a mess, but since the environment helps terrorist so much I don't think I will want to play on the next months when people realize that hiding in the shadows is viable.
Castle is cool, but I just played terror side. I thought it was easier to spot enemies than on Rush. I find all the bomb sites kind enjoyable, but the insider castle parte kind strange, I don't know why.
Mist is shit for me, I hate turn a corner and get shotgun down, maybe that is why.
Black gold is ok, but seems a little to much corners and rooms, also it hurts my eyes.

You get two cases every week unless it was changed. There isn't drop luck.

You get one operation case and one worthless (winter, esports, sticker, etc) case as far as I can tell.
I got a phoenix case every week of the phoenix operation and two huntsman because i'm an unlucky guy You can easily verify the weekly case drop in your market history if you listed them when you got them. The information is dated.

Yeah same here, 1 phoenix case every week and 2 huntsman so far. I even sold one of my 2 Huntsman case, which dropped on the 1st day, for like 15$ (that would be pure luck tho). There's no luck involved on operation cases drop but you can reimburse yourself more quickly if you buy the operation on day 1 since prices can sometimes go down quickly.

I haven't figured out who buys those things for like 4-10 bucks a crate though...
Everybody knows the value only goes one way and everybody is in a selling frenzy lol

The people who buy them are opening them for potential profit. Your statement makes it sound like people buy them to hoard them even though the price is going to go down ^_^
I would also suggest that the expected value is fairly good for opening them. The new items have prices just as ridiculous as the new cases.

Sure but somebody has to drive the demand for skins, and those people have to know that if they wait a day the price plummets.

Castle is not that bad map. Played it today and it was fine. Love owergorw. Concept of insertion is nice, but final product is lacking a bit.
|
Yay i got promoted to nova 4 !
|
Get, like from playing? Or just randomly get cases? Sry, I know nothing about buying Operations, but it seems less worth than... say a compendium even if you like the look of the items?
