Yeah the low tick for spectating is annoying. The spectator interface and features have improved a lot once Valve started caring about CS:GO and updating it though. Yeah, I by no means wanted to say that the spectator interface is bad. Mostly I feel it could be even better if they decided to adjust and polish the things a bit once all the intended raw features are there. Most of the good stuff is there already, it's just a bit spread out and sometimes clunky to use.

Anyone can hear scope and burst cycling. Knife is stupid and should be audible but isn't.

Has anyone placed a bet on cslounge? and if yes, were you able to retrieve our items? i just keep getting the same "error" message: bot is currently offline...wtf?

Yes i did and it worked. But apparently there is a problem with bots since yesterday. I think you can ask in the steam group discussion with the name of your csgolouge account and items.
I have some items in holding too.

Bots have been having troubles for the past week or so. Give it some time and try another time. Your items aren't going any where.

I just had my inventory desynced in steam for a day or so. I could see my new items in GO itself, but I couldn't find them in my steam browser or sell them in the market or anything.

The steam browser I've heard sucks and it's best to use your own browser to do the steam inventory stuff.

I think you can hear the cycling between burst/single shot though.
Didn't knew about the knife, never happen to me yet and never bother to test it. Thanks for the info!

I really wish that they improve ingame spectating soon. It would be neat if it become as good as dota with no lag and the ability to hear/watch casters PoV.

I never realized how much crosshairs can affect your gameplay until I changed mine into a thick, big bright green crosshair. I've been playing a hell of a lot better with it.
|
I have issues properly seeing distant movement in dark areas when I have big-ass bright green crosshairs (e.g. Guarding B tunnels on Dust 2 from the very very back corner of the site). If I position my crosshair properly it basically blots out too much and over-contrasts making all the rest of the area seem the same uniform dark colour.

Finally got MG1 :D I'm getting back into my source form of years ago.

White crosshair with an outline ftw!

my inventory is a snapshot of how it was a day ago, though i can see the st guardian i unboxed last night via the in-game inventory i can't see it via steam or list it on the market.
seems everyone's csgo inventories are frozen at the moment, i think valve's performing maintenance on the system or something. you can see this reflected in the sudden increase of case value since the stock isn't being replenished anymore

Do you always get items when you win or is it random? XD i placed a bet on fnatic, won, but haven't gotten anything :D
|
your bet was probably of too low value so you got zero return

Do you have to buy those keys to open boxes? Is there any other way to get them rather than buying the keys? Should you sell the boxes directly on steam?

Operation cases are usually good to sell. Other cases I tend to just open. You can buy keys from VALVE or from community, but community keys cost more.

Yes you have to buy the keys, either in-game or on the market (ingame is probably cheaper but doesn't hurt to check the market). If you don't want to spend the $ to open might as well get some $ and sell it instead of letting it e-dust in your inventory

I play with pink crosshair since nothing is pink in this game so that i never lose it.

Yeah you could sell them, then when you have sold enough, you can buy a key once in a while.
Btw apparently csgolounge is back. I received my items. Won all my bets (bragging) but there were really low. I only won 2items :p
