Fragbite Masters finals had 60k viewers across all streams, and that was just an online tournament for like 10k euros. Really happy about it. 6 monts ago that would have been completely unheard of for a major LAN, let alone a small online tournament. I wonder if this leads to some improvements on the specator side sooner or later. The 16 tick spectating is rather painful and I wouldn't mind some slight adjustments to the demo UI either.

The spectator interface and features have improved a lot once Valve started caring about CS:GO and updating it though.

Regarding the low tick rate, I've always seemed to enjoy the lack of animation from the hltv povs from 1.6. Not sure exactly why, it just looked cool. Guess it doesn't translate as well to CS:GO where it just looks like people are getting prefired before the model even peeks the corner.

Always reading how people just magically open one case and happen to get a knife, or a stat trak m4 asiimov that could be sold for $230... /sigh. Even when I get "rare" items, it's always the cheapest rare item, ie aug chameleon instead of the awp asiimov lol. The first one has the lower tickrate and really doesn't give you a sense of what the player sees. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fBgQlf3z6UU#t=18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fng0a_Te72E#t=11 Good to know. Sometimes I watch replays and I'm always like, "Yeah, no way I'm that fast with the AWP." Now I know why!

I think you can hear the cycling between burst/single shot though.
