Is rushing a site as 5 even a good strat? everyone wants to do it, but the majority of the time we just get naded to the face and then backstabbed by the rotating CTs

If you stop at all everyone will die. Generally, the first person will eat the nades (block with body) which keeps the rest of the team alive. Then there need to be entry frags. A good flash will stop a nade stack. If people stop mid-rush because they get flashed or naded, they give the CTs time to rotate and kill everyone from behind.

Yeah, because you happen to be in charge of a team of 4 other randoms and they should listen to you! Why aren't they stroking my ego! Edit: Rushing as a team of 5 especially to B on Dust II with randoms rarely works. For one thing, you don't know if they will commit to it or not. They can split off to go mid or stop in tunnel to take a shot, blocking eveyone else, or just throw a flash at the wrong place and time. I've had good experiences with random players just doing their own thing, where they just happen to know when and where to make push for it. Blaming your team of random for not listening to you, usually means that the problem is you, not them.

I don't think ego stroking has anything to do with it. People just want to play MMing as a team regardless of who they are playing with. But unfortunately, there are people who have no idea how to conduct themselves in a team nor how to play as a team which creates a horrible environment for a team game.

Also how big do you guys find directional audio? I'm stuck with wearing an uncomfortable headset and I can't really hear the direction of where sound is coming from.
