i read somewhere that pistols & movement are the dev teams focus right now, but as always they seem to release important tweaks really far apart so who knows when anything will come
my biggest issue atm is that it takes a lot of focus for me to play the game because the models look like the map and what not. i still have trouble distinguishing a ct's head from those boxes on dust 2, and sometimes it is really hard to tell if somebodys even in pit (id like to know if theres any commands to get rid of fog...).

You're in luck, there are commands to get rid of fog.
But that's where your luck goes to shit as they are considered cheats and can't be used on most servers (including all valve servers). You either have to get used to it or play ESEA/Leetway/ESL/altPug

now that i think about it the real problem is how desaturated the colors can get, on the more colorful maps i dont have this problem but on lets say inferno, i have annoying issues with it
I've been trying to derank down to Gold-1 since I started playing again but then people keep trying to go for ties and stuff. It's so hard to derank like one time it took 7 losses on purpose and no rank change.
Speaking of ranks, I feel like I never rank up. Had double AK's once and now that golden 4 stars rank (dunno the name). I don't go down either, that's the good part.

My problem is: I have some friends I play MM games with, most of them are either lower in ranks or higher. What has more impact on ranks, winning the game or personal stats?
I just got ranked up to legendary eagle after being DMG since the MMR change. I guess there's something to be said about consistency...even if I am consistently terrible.

I was demoted to legendary eagle after I lost 4 games in a row (top or 2nd highest frag all of them), most likely only winning matters, not your personal stats if you lose

Pretty sure its both, because you can get promoted on a tie.
