Isn't the "Watch" option to spectate a friend a step backward to prevent cheating/colluding?

I don't really like the fact that you can spectate the 2 sides. Spectating your friend team only would be way better imo.

It's delayed by a round, how does that help cheating in any way (2 minutes delay)

Thanks I didn't knew about the delay, I tough it was in real time. It's fine then.

After 60 or so games I got to gold 4. MM is good imo. The biggest downside like in any queue is the groups. Just like in LoL where the duo queue almost always loses but in cs:go it's worse cause I'd imagine you get bigger "elo boost" when you queue with 2-3-4 ppl. The clans/teams/groups loses more than they win in my experience because more often than not they have a bigger skill disparity.

nip and fnatic tied on train, pretty sick rounds.

That's a pretty bs re-game of the overtime if it happens.

Because if it was actually supposed to be 3 rounds, then they just played 2 unnecessary games after it and it would have played out the same. 2-1 2-0. The buy of the AWP is only an issue if it was supposed to be 5 rounds.

Are there really a lot of hackers and wallers in CS:GO?

As someone that was accused of hacking a lot in many games, i'd say people are just good. For some headset=wallhack

yea, i hardly ever meet people who are clearly hacking. but thin-skinned people will convince themselves to think otherwise.

CS is a game where hacking and being really really really good can look identical to the untrained eye. Unless they are very obviously using something like a speedhack it can be hard to be sure, but there are definitely people who hack in csgo.

In the couple months I've played CSGO (and ~300 comp games), only ran into one blatant hacker (spinning around head shotting entire team right after round starts), rest were fishy but probably just good.

In other news, these dreamhack brackets are so rigged wtf. NiP vs VG right in the beginning!

Yes. They're everywhere, but a lot of them are careful about if from years of practice with CSS and 1.6. You should watch some streamers do Overwatch sometime, it's really interesting. I would have called people just suspicious but when you look through overwatch it's so blatant.

Yeah if NiP beat fnatic they would have been on the opposite side of the bracket from verygames.

I am so angry at the Dreamhack admins, imagine how players feel.
If they don't move semi-finals to be played tommorow, it would be like the worst Premier LAN in esports history ever. or at least in 2013.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel
