Should overlap enough that it doesn't matter unless you're really trying to min/max for the race. That might be a poor assumption depending on which class you're playing actually.

~~It doesn't, but~~ you're going to get some anyway if you're playing a Ranger or Duelist (looks like most people don't play these classes as EA though). You focus on the dot so you don't kill yourself on reflects.

The explosion actually does benefit from projectile damage. This was a nerf to LMP/GMP technically though.

Hm school work has greatly reduced my time online. If I'm lucky I can do like 6 races per week ( including weekends ) so dual Andv is a no go. That goal seemed overly optimistic anyway. Now just hoping that my andv is not gonna be as bad as balsam lol ....

I'll be playing scion so that I get all the gems that I need to get. The transition doesn't seem to be that bad I think I switch to EA some time in A2M at around level 55-63, Ill get all the gems I need from quests, except Proliferate, and I will need to buy a Quill Rain (I don't use a lot of gems either so i probably wont need a high ilvl quill, have a link for EA, a link for CoDT, and a link with flama, faster cast, portal, ele warp, and a link with Split Arrow) but asides from that I just need life/res on gear. My main character is EA so I understand how to play it pretty well, I also race a lot so ST is pretty straightforward for leveling.

You don't use LMP/GMP in EA anyway though because you will rip to reflect if you do that.

I already know how I want my links/gems to work though, I just need help with the tree.

4L is EA, chance to ignite, fire penetration, proliferate.
5L adds Increased Burning damage
6L adds Conc/Inc AoE

another 4L is CoDT + enduring cry, high level CoDT + molten (will probably just end up linking increased duration and self casting it though, unless I get lucky and drop a CoDT.)

another 4L is Flamability + faster casting + ele warp + portal

last 4L i need is split arrow + chain + lgoh + faster attacks

I think you have two EA links if you do that. One has GMP to make a bunch of fire and the other is used for single target to avoid 50% less damage where it matters.

Im going to play the week race varanice. Will be late to the start though. I was planning on going EA as well, but I decided not to last minute pretty much. I have alot of time off this week because of my schedule and figure I can probably do not bad, so gonna play a generic build.

Tested EA on my hardcore character, seems like the minimum gear/link requirement to make it work is fairly high.

What is going with Gifts from Above in Nemesis? I had mine on the forums for like 1,5 month and even posted it on the trade channel an never got an offer of more than 5 chaos. Now I got 6 offers in 3 days up until 10 chaos. It was a medium one (sold it for 10 chaos). But now I'm curious if this is only a coincidence or if I made a bad deal because of a change I didn't know of.

its 5-8 ex on SC, and nemesis to sc is like 3:1 i think

So now that the league is about to end in one month from now every tries to get the high value items cheao for nonLadder? That's explains a lot. So I made about 1,5 ex + loss. Whatever, I can live with that but thanks for the head-up!
