The godlike physical wand costs 363 pDPS with double crit mods though so it is pretty fucking good if you have 30 eternal to drop. | ||

Since I didn't do much MFing in the beginning of this league (though I did get decent drops so I did alright, currency-wise), I think I'd like to make a dedicated MFer for my first character in the new set of leagues, and I'd like to practice it once before the new league starts. Primarily I think my target will be Piety, but low-mid maps would be nice, too. I don't need to be able to solo-MF, since partying is something I'm fine with, so a support culler of some kind is my goal (I think). I'm definitely willing to take other suggestions, too, but since magicfindearl is basically a loot magnet, he's obviously doing something right. If it ain't broke... =] | ||

EK "only" profits from haste and hatred, none of which you'll be running. Auras with this build have to be grace/discipline/clarity with the rest of your mana unreserved for Mind over Matter. (Obviously you'll have some flexibility when other party members run one or more of these auras). So yeah, don't expect any serious dps with this build. | ||

Or do you just pick a projectile spell of your choice, assume you'll do no damage, and spam the crap out of it? Do the spell damage and projectile bonuses apply to totem-casted spells? Basically I'm terrible at playing anything that isn't SMASH THEM IN THE FACE WITH A STICK, and have no idea how spellcaster mechanics work =[ | ||

There are tons of different ways to do it (obviously very gear dependent) but they all come down to culling as often and on as many targets as possible. Which and how many auras you (can) run and totems vs self cast all depend on gear. (the build you posted is basically the "as cheap as possible" variant) | ||

Looking at the new skills and skill tree, thinking of running a Scion with Iron Reflexes, Mind over Matter and Eldritch Battery, with main skill being Cyclone - Cast on Crit - Storm Call - Power Charge on Crit. Any suggestions? Super intrigued by the possibilities of Cast on Crit here. | ||
