Take a look at this guy too. He's running Nemesis with only magic items and pretty minimal trading/ grinding. | ||

For example, he's been complaining about needing a new wand. Welp, I'm going to buy some points and wait for a deal on stash tabs. I'll trade an exalt for an inventory of ID scrolls, then go farm until I'm out of them. I should probably try and build a dedicated MF character though-- what's a good build? Burned Miscreation summoner spamming some sort of cull? I might start playing with the Steam client, but I'm scared to see the hours I'd rack up on it :x | ||

I personally was running an EK EB MFer; the gear requirement for EK is really low so it's easy to stack on MF, and I find it more fun than playing a summoner. I got to 200 rarity/43 quant pretty easily, and my clear speed on Piety was good. | ||

I want to play a 1hand/shield guy with daggers, i liked the idea of building a massive energy shield and low health, taking Ghost Reaver to keep the shield full and be a quick melee that way. So basically, is it, with little resources and not uber-items, possible to have a energy shield high enough to not just die from having basically no health? | ||

Shield doesn't neuter evasion, quite the contrary. 75% block would have the same mitigation as 50% block and 50% evasion. However, 75% is also the block cap. Since total mitigation gets better the higher it gets (e.g. going from 0% to 50% is just as good as going from 50% to 75%) finding ways to combine mitigation is great. ES builds in general are more gear dependent than Life builds. Also ES doesn't do well with Acrobatics for obvious reasons. =P ... I'd just go life in your case. | ||

 But going full evasion/ES as defensive passives and then itimizing for max-ES, is that gonna let me live, or am i gonna blow up? Cause i am pretty sure just taking hybrid equip and Acrobatics is certainly the worst thing to do. | ||

But in the end I ended up coping a lot from Kripparians dischargers and Ziggyd's EK. So from Kripps discharger he basicly runs with very few damage nodes due to discharge doing really good damage on it's own. Flame blast is very similar damage (slightly less per charge, but can charge more), He also picked up Vaal Pact to not die to reflect, and as a result only time I saw him do a map over 69 he got carried in some shrine map while standing far back casting fireballs and dual cursing There's a couple things changed since then, more damage over time nodes and there's purity of fire in the game. He also didn't pick up Resolute technique and discharge has 8% base critt, while flame blast has 6. So since monkey see monkey do, I didn't either. But I can always skoot over 3 points from some hybrid hp cluster/cast speed cluster to get it if it ends up fucking me over. So from Ziggys EK I just stole how to get a lot of easy survivability due to artic armor helping vs fire, and the new damage over time nodes are pretty much perfectly placed for a EB MoM build. And you kind of have to be Scion to not waste too many points to get them both. Going to use discipline, clarity and purity of fire + artic armor. | ||

I'm trying to level a summoner, but its really slow. I've got a 5L Searing Touch-- does linking Spectre + Fire Pen + Burning Damage make the Burned Miscreation do more damage? I run like 150iir on my Templar (and he's tanky as heck already), plus I get the extra iir+iiq (like 50/30?) when I cull bosses. I'd like to really crank up my MF to the point where when I kill a boss it looks like the Vaults map. Also because I am a huge lore geek, I want GG to release a sword for Daresso because he's a badass, but it would probably be super GG and cost like 200 ex. | ||
