Even Diablo 3 dropped upgrades more often than PoE, and D3 was pretty terrible with regards to that already. Yes I'm aware I could just trade for items and have awesome gear, but trading in ARPGs just feels like using a trainer in D2 did, it might be fun for a little bit, but it gets very boring very quickly (and that's ignoring the fact that trading in PoE is boring as fuck and much more time consuming than it should be due to no AH/the currency system). I'll probably still log on occasionally and do a map or two when I've got nothing else to do, but unless they change the drop rates of orbs (never even seen an exalted or eternal, and there's no way to get one without trading meaning they essentially don't exist for anyone playing self found), or make an actual crafting system then I doubt I'll be back properly or spend any more money on the game. Oh, and in before "if more upgrades dropped you'd be bored after a month of having an OP char". No, I wouldn't, and even if I was it wouldn't be any different than the current situation anyway, atleast I'd have had more fun leveling up getting regular upgrades. I'd also be more inclined to play different chars if I thought I might actually be able to get gear that's useful more than once every 2 weeks. | ||

It's just the fact that literally all I get from playing is XP, I might as well not bother picking loot up, because there's a 99.9% chance that it's going to be trash. I'd also rather not build up wealth on one char then buy a load of gear for another one, as I say to me there's no difference between using a trainer and going on poe.xyz.is putting in the stats I want and buying it imo. | ||

The trading through various currencies is what makes POE stand out for me, and the dev put a lot of efforts into creating this type of mass-dictates economy. It's not flawless, but I like it. | ||

what you are looking for requires a specially designed, isolated game mode in which drops scale automatically to match what you have. that seems to be much more artificial and kid glove than the current game. i'd call your desired game mode using a trainer tbh also you seem to be crafting stuff with alch/chaos. this is really inefficient and if you are doing it on non top tier bases too, then it's a complete waste of currency | ||

I've been having the same problem, it only seems to be when I party with 5 other people. Maps are basically useless to me because of this. Havent played for more than 2 hours the whole week because I literally can't do end game maps without dying to desync or getting disconnected and not being able to rejoin the map I was in. When I solo it seems to be more stable but who wants to farm maps solo? Also eu server | ||

The higher the level (requirements) of a white item, the better the blue item should become i think. But again: In almost all cases the rare item is still better, simple due to the fact of more properties. | ||

almost RIPed 2 - 3 times running Museum solo with just extra Lightning damage mod seemed like big Skeletons were able to crit me for half my HP have 6107 Armor, 4828 HP, 38% block, capped resists, and can build up to 5 endurance charges was able to body pull the bosses though and solo each one | ||
