mang, you don't get to say scrubcore at the same sentence you discuss the altf4 elite strategy of win
wait until the next sentence ~_~

In it to win it.

All the bonus events probably aren't going to show up on the main page.

Doesn't mean we can't have fun!
Also, if you want to dodge the Herald of Storms or whatever that merveil lightning shit is, do NOT enter the Glittering Cave. The "easy" firestorm/spark totem boss is in the Glittering Crypt.

Sometimes on Nemesis when there's a particularily dangerous combination of mods, its best to just alf f4

Do we know how it interacts with supports like fork/pierce/chain? I dunno how else you'd get mileage out of that return projectile.

First run I died to the totem boss, I now know you absolutely need to avoid gettting hit by his Lightning Warp.
Then I started 12 min late a new char and still made lvl 19 3/4. Not too bad considering RNG wasn't very good (still 180 DPS Ground Slam, hatred + added fire is nice). I found Shiversting and the spell block amulet. Didn't pick up cleave so I couldn't do anything with Shiversting (and no idea if that would've been better, mb faster but more risky).

Do we know how it interacts with supports like fork/pierce/chain? I dunno how else you'd get mileage out of that return projectile. By the time you get support gems, you better have a new bow. That bow has the same damage as a white long bow. A decent short bow with iron ring/some damage easily outdamages it.
Died to Rukuku lightning warp. Don't stay right out of shock nova range. He warps before you can move out and it's basically an instakill.
Btw, is there any tip for finding the stairs in the first two zones? I basically had to fullclear them as the stairs seem completely random. Is there a visual cue leading to it, or you just gotta get lucky?

You can outrun his Lightning Warp when you see it fast enough, which you should.
Just luck I think... first zone last time it was completely to the left, this time it was a bit right and a bit north.
I once again picked up the Helmet and used it until the end. I often have full Life so it also adds DPS aside from making me able to link added fire to both heavy strike and ground slam.

I couldn't get out of it before he warped while I was firing at basically minimum warp range. But then again, there's 0 reason to be close. You can be one screen away and shoot at it and it won't do anything for a while, then it will take forever to warp to you. And he doesn't seem to warp in melee either, but there's that weird shock area around him.
Also, that fire golem + spark totem boss is insanely easy compared to storm merveil. I see really no reason to go for Merveil at this point.

I wonder if that shock stack is applied to the lightning warp damage; it would explain why it deals so much damage ^_^ Also died to the totem and then died to brutus on my second run. Ran into the cage with my flasks depleted because I was expecting the leap slam goat zone that I had earlier today, although I probably would have died to him regardless because Scion doesn't get a single target skill for some reason.

Logging out doesn't help much against these bosses. Hatestorm is the coolest boss fight I've seen in a while though, I hope Fairgraves turns out like him.
I probably would have cracked top 5 witch if I hadn't died to Ruduku with a sliver of his hp left going for the #yolo spark. I did miss the MS zone that round, though, so I'm not sure.
I thank Chris for finally making a race type Witch is good in after brutal signature choices these last few rounds.

I failed too much at this 2h solo race. First I did not pick up Weaver quest item and realize it very late, then I fail to kill the detonate dead Rogue (RNG was so so so so bad) and well... I generally did not play amazing either. So I just left it at lvl 22, enough for Divination Flask anyway!
|
I'm skipping way too many races to be in the top 20 of the season ladder, I did less than half the races this season and I just can't seem to find the motivation to do more. I think it might have something to do with the bad rewards past 360 points. Just really not feeling it atm.
Descent Champions was alot of fun though, but the desync in that race was out of control for me.

The addition of skeletons to brutus made him even more laggy than before, I wonder if they even take that into account when designing stuff, coz i was sure it could not get worse than turbo brutus without trying
|
I failed so hard in the 12 min burst lol.
Picked up a yellow sash from first boss then proceeded to try and equip a 2h sword with ground slam. So bad lol.
I'm guessing ppl use their scrolls of wisdom to buy really cheap 2H gear early on?
EDIT: Went 2nd time and barely made it to level 5 as a scion. Like with 1 minute left lol. At least I get something.
