Anybody want to give me some tips on how to build an "easy mode" character? Like which class, what to skill, items, etc.?
Just starting out, not sure how the game works yet so I'm thinking of crusing through my first playthrough to familiarize myself with game mechanics, skills, stats, etc.

Cast on damage taken is just too good on YOLO characters. Like you can dive into pretty much any mob now and barely worry that some crazy chain freeze/shock or desynch thing will kill you.

I think with that I totally need to pick more Endurance Charges... ^^ I'm worried it will take away my reave charges and I won't be able to use cast on damage taken =/ haven't gotten to merci yet to test it

I don't know Reave very well but it was only resetting when I wasn't hitting for a while. I had 8 reave charges and was casting (through Cast on damage taken) Molten Shelll, Enduring Cry and Decoy totem without that the charges were resetting.

How high to value an exalted this early (Nemesis) closer to 15 or to 20 or even higher?

I looked Reave up on the Wiki last night when trying to decide if I was going to build around it, it supposedly only resets if you haven't hit anything for two seconds, or any other skill or normal attack is used.

It is only problem right now because you get 100% cast rate on every hit with just the level one version (and leveling it up is counter productive unless you're trying to do cute things). Changing the threshold so that it doesn't activate on every single hit would go a long way towards balancing it. GGG should also change it to be limited to one active ability, but I don't want to see them nerf it into obscurity either. Making it cast every defensive ability when you get hit is pretty silly from a game play perspective, although there are enough dead bodies on the Nemesis ladder that it clearly isn't an issue :0

It's a projectile attack, so it might work with proj totem.

No, ranged has to be with a wand or bow far as I know.
I don't have any spell totems handy, so I can't try. I also want to try spell totem with animate weapon.

So I just started playing this game after watching some streams, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing on my marauder, how do I even play it? I just spam ground slam every time I run into enemies and that's pretty much it. I have no idea what skillroute to go and what gems to use etc. I'm doing way better on my archer xD.

So...after ripping like an idiot to piety on nemesis normal with my first char (who knew she could oneshot one, with shock stacks), i'm now right in front of dominus with my 2nd char (whom i'll try tomorrow).
Any advice? Right now i'm up to 1,2k Life, 75 lightning resist, frost and fire around 50ish. My double strike does around 800 dps, my spectral throw (with lmp and faster proj) around 350.
What should i watch out for? (aside from running into the safe zone in the last phase)
Also whom do I have to harass to get an invite to the TL guild?

If I'm making a Lightning trap/Conductivity build, what's the best way to make use of the Shocks? Fire traps? or do most people use Warlord's Mark and Discharge?
