If I got something like a high weapon elemental roll I figure I'd be rolling in it, but not sure how the odds break down.

God fucking damnit. Desynced into Fetid pool rhoas in merciless at lvl 45 on my second HC character. I just upgraded my gear too what the fuckkk...

You're pretty ballsy going into a 58 zone at 45.

I had 1600 health and was overgeared, but I froze for like 2 seconds then I typed /oos and it was too late. All granites/health pots were full

Anyway, Archangel, don't try and force transition yourself into CI. There's no point in trying to go CI if you do not have the gear for it. Just keep leveling as if you were HP build (you SHOULD have HP nodes, especially if you're HC). Eventually you'll be able to afford/loot pieces as you go along and once you have enough to provide high ES, then just use up the respec points and a few regrets (shouldn't take that many if you didn't use respec points). CI shines most in map era, anyway. Well I am lvl 61, I think I waited enough. I did switch so I can finish act 2 merc easier.

Fetid Pool is just really hard, i didn't die there lately but that's because i know it's one of the hardest zones there is... Stun immunity definitely helps though.
|
After losing a 3rd character out of 6 to some weird crash/disconnect I'm done with HC, dunno if it is my computer, terrible servers or a connection of both, but if I half of the time lose characters to something I 100% have no control of, better to play SC and save myself the broken heart.

Nugiyen just bought a 5 link from a cruel vendor Oo How likely is that?
|
I also bought a 5 link bow once, but only lvl 24... -.-
Probably not very likely, just as unlikely as that the 5-6 sockets you find are 5 linked. It's definitely profitable to always check for chromatics, 6 sockets and the very unlikely 5-6 links at all vendors after each level up.

1600 hp isn't that much, also why would you go fetid pool? There are only respecc points in the reward.

Yeah, I didn't do Fetid Pool on merci until after Piety just so I wouldn't get screwed by a de-sync, because that's definately the worst zone to desync in. (I was using the respec points to optimize a couple skill points.)

i normally only do fetid pool etc, if i need the respec points, otherwise i just skip.

It is also one of the most likely zone to desync in due to Roas Charge causing a LOT of desync. Same for the barracks in A3, I would advise not spending too much time in there :p

Awesome :D
A new feature should be deployed soon, where sellers can add their shops to PoExplorer, to make sure their stuff is indexed regularly.
@BrotherBax: yep, searching on the forums is terrible ^^.

Having met my first few elemental reflect bosses as an elemental templar, I'd like to share my current build. 'Cause it worked great. This could be HC ready, although I play SC.
The build
Summary from exilepro + Show Spoiler +Here is your Summary: Keystone Elemental Equilibrium: Enemies you hit with Elemental Damage temporarily get +25% Resistance to those Elements and -50% Resistance to other Elements Eldritch Battery: Converts all Energy Shield to Mana Stats +120 to Strength +40 to Dexterity +270 to Intelligence Life 132% increased maximum Life +30 to maximum Life Mana 60% increased Mana Regeneration Rate 7% reduced Mana Cost of Skills Elemental Damage 41% increased Elemental Damage Resistance +30% to all Elemental Resistances +30% Elemental Resistances while holding a Shield Cast Speed 6% increased Cast Speed Armour 104% increased Armour Energy Shield 104% increased maximum Energy Shield Critical Strike 70% increased Critical Strike Multiplier for Spells 220% increased Critical Strike Chance 30% increased Critical Strike Multiplier 115% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells Shield Block 7% additional Shield Block Chance Misc 30% increased Effect of Buffs on You 12% of Block Chance applied to Spells 20% increased Defences from equipped Shield 12% increased Radius of Area Skills 8% increased Area Damage
Skills used: Shock and Ice Nova with Remote Mine and Concentrated Effect as support. Iron Will will be fifth if I find 5L, dunno for sixth. Arc with added lightning and lightning penetration Ice Spear with proliferation, could use some improvements but it does the job so far. Moltenshell Lightning warp Rejuvenation totem Tempest Shield for when I have more mana to spare.
Auras: Discipline, Clarity, Determination so far
Damage from this build come from the combination of 3 "More damage" multiplier. One from the mine, one from concentrated effect, and the other from elemental equilibrium (negative resists act as a "more"). With crits coming into play, a well placed blow can one-shot a weak yellow of my level (43). Reflect doesn't come into play as mines deal the damage And I have yet to take most crit nodes.
I passed on the traps and mines laying speed but it is an option as I planned the build around those originally. It's been quick enough so far as far as I'm concerned.
For defense, we have +60% elemental resist from the passive tree, a good amount of HP and armor, and more available if needed. Also the way mines work goes very well with running away ^^
Mana is taken care of with eldritch battery and +energy shield nodes, there is also 90% increased energy shield from equipped shield available easily.
Fighting goes as follows : Pop Molten shell, place 5 mines (Ice and Shock alternatively for Elemental Equilibrium), back, blow the mines. Placement is of course important, but that could be a whole guide. Left overs and lone guys are taken care of with arc/ice spear.
Some AoE mobs will make mines impossible to use (break them as soon as you drop them), so arc/ice spear for those annoying guys.
This build should be played by listening to metal, as the headbanging motion made when placing mines is just perfect.

It sounds really fun. I dunno how it would far on HC either but I was actually just thinking about a build that used only traps for damage. Maybe combined with detonate dead.

Influenced by elemental cleave templar I was thinking of making a Elemental Cyclone Dualist on softcore. Offense: Plan is to use double claws for 2x life on hit and high crit chance. Plan is to have 20+ crit % which when combined with high attack of cyclone will give me lots of crits that will turn into frozen, shocked, whatever. Skill links and supports: Cyclone+WED+Faster Attacks+Mana Leech (and + Blind for a 5L for high level content). I plan to use Warlords Cry to get more life and mana leech and gather endurance charges. For faster clearing maybe Critical Weakness instead. Single links will be Viper Strike+Faster attack+Accuracy+Increased Duration. Defense: Will be mix armor and evasion + around 30% block with claws. Auras: Wrath+Anger+Grace+RM. Maybe link some of these with Blood Magic gem and use determination or purity on mana.
Skill tree: + Show Spoiler +
So any advice?

Don't you need way more than 64 int to use high-level claws/daggers?
Or is that gonna come from items?
