Thanks for the RIP lol. You probably saw it on Kripps stream. I messaged him just to see if he would give me a shoutout RIP lol. Well learn from your mistakes is definitely what I've been doing. I have been getting higher and higher level wise each time I've had to reroll. I really thought I was good to go with my EK witch, that's what makes it sad.

People don't typically buy quality gems less than maybe 13ish. Just use all your low quality gems to make GCP via the recipe since nobody wants them. It is cheaper to buy a 13+ quality gem than it is to turn a low quality gem into a 20% typically. ALD on default seems to break this and I'm sure there are others.

General rule for finding out a gems worth is gcp per 5% until 15% then its a gcp for every 1%quality until 20. Now for popular gems like power siphon or now its freezing pulse they prices sky rocket from demand but other gems that people dont use as often or the quality does nothing that good worth really getting like leap slam or arctic breathe the price of it goes down.
or at least thats how it is in hc
edit: the reason lower quality gems(anything under 14) dont sell as often is because people get more bang for their buck by getting a 15+ and then usually just use the gcp's they have themselves to perfect it.
So to answer your question your 12% ek is worth 2gcp and 1-2 chaos.

well that armor does indeed blow CI out of the water doesnt it. you can run all kinds of crazy shit on blood magic then put on that armor enjoy bloodrages low life buffs and what not... requesting something that allows me to run stuff on energy shield, percentage based

It's a bit trickier than that. As the guy in the video points out he can't run indoor maps with that setup since he just doesn't see anything. (Can be circumvented by hitting 66% life removed, but still.)
Compared to CI this has much much less ES than the top CI chests and you're still not immune to Chaos Damage.
