Would have to find some fat to trim from my skill tree to match that...
Recently there has been a trend that picks up Inner Force instead of Iron Grip (respecing from IG to IF at a high level) but yes to all of that. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=250781¤tpage=362#7235

Farming ledge / docks, not maps Farming docks for currency isn't efficient if you're a high level (there is a penalty for every level you're above the zone minus two levels). Assuming you're level 75 (which is pretty low) then you're going to have a 2.5*[75-(62+2)]=27.5% penalty to currency drops. This penalty doesn't apply to maps so you could consider doing level 66 maps instead. As for IIQ versus IIR. I want to say currency drops are only affected by IIQ so the latter option would be better, but I can't find any source for this information so ^_^ Isn't the player level capped at 68 for currency drops? I'm pretty sure it is capped, I'm just not sure of the exact level, should be 68-72.

68 is the cap which is why the penalty doesn't apply to maps 66+2=68. I didn't consider that this would also cap the penalty, but losing 10% of your currency drops still sucks.
How much damage does Vaal's ground slam do exactly (normal)? Should I just pussy out and bow him even though I have 1k hp? Never done the fight melee before so ^_^

I just did Vaal in normal with pitifully low armor in Melee and he did around 1/2 my 900 life per hit with the ground slam.

his slam is part fire part physical. so if you plan to melee him, get 75% fire res

I think the proper move here is to just not DPS him while he can ground slam me and not worry about it ^_^

I did have around 40 or so fire resistance, so I suppose that helped.
I never had to portal or anything, but I could do damage from afar with lightning strike at times, so he only hit me with the attack like twice ever.

I wonder if block works on it?

Though in the end, I guess this still falls under the idea of not getting hit.

It's best to try ad work your way through on your own at the beggining, remember freezing pulse and hp are your friends regardless of build you plan on going lategame

I've decided I like evasion much more than armor. I know this discussion has been had many times but for me it all just comes down to Arrow Dodging. Best skill ever. I have an armor based LA and the only thing that scares me is groups of Archers, especially if they do chaos damage. With 95% projectile evade it's a joke. Up to lvl 52(my other is 64) now in HC and liking it a lot more. Obviously still tons of health.

Seems about right. I had only 500+ HP and barely lived through a ground slam. You can melee him for sure. You just have to move and dodge a lot (speaking of normal).

Determination+Grace. I'm pretty sure this blows any pure armor build out of the water.

I wish they could tone down the spell effects a bit. With my dual totem icespear mass minion toon I just carpet bomb the whole screen. I cant see jack shit and I dont care. This is solo. In groups its just even worse.
It would be nice if they could differentiate players and mobs better.
