really? it's the same? because i've done lots of maps and it's always leaning more towards lower level maps dropping
im not realy in a dry spell, im only in a dry spell when it comes to getting higher level maps. i have so many lvl 66 maps that i repeatedly sell them but i keep running out of 68s and 69s and have to go back to 66s and 67s to get more

Mhm. At least according to the massive mechanics thread in the forums. Drop wise you don't keep leveling after that.

Lagged to death in the Upper Prison with my Duelist and kept getting teleported back into the middle of like 20 monsters with my health bar dropping to 10%-20% when I was on a good pace and still had a little over 30 minutes in the race that just happened, was really upsetting. It didn't happen in the first race and I had no problems. Not sure if it was server instability or my internet (having a hard time believing it was my internet with it's quality).

Are you doing maps with really bad debuffs? The worse the debuff the more quantity and are you using up some chisels? With rough debuffs and chisels the map farm stays pretty constant for 68/69 at least.. 70+ thats another issue lol.

i just started as a Witch and im given a choice from a large set of spells and i dont know which one to take >_>.. so far i have 2 lv3 spells, Raise Zombie and Fireball.
My choices are: Firestorm, Cold Snap, Ice Spear, Ethereal Knives, Ice Nova, another Raise Zombie, Glacial Hammer, and Detonate Dead. which one is recommended?
I want to run a summoner build but im not sure if double Raise Zombie is good lol.

Holy shit ran into my first physical reflect rare on my HC EK Witch. That was scary. Didnt notice it at first and instantly dropped to 25% through my ES with 1 EK. Luckily bear trap takes care of it quickly after that but I guess I need to be more careful now...

i have over 60 maps and cant even comprehend running out. about 25 68's and 9 70+
rarely have more than 5 69s because i just alch then steamroll them to see if i can upgrade to 70

The 68 Spider Lair map boss hurts like hell, I have 4k hp but only 10% chaos res. I don't need to cap out chaos res do I? That would be really hard :S

If you can remember what the phys reflect aura looks like, that goes a long way. Also popping granite flask negates alot of the reflect damage.

Same here, i can run white 66's and get 2-3 maps then i run a 100% quantity 70+ and get none. RIght now im not even gonna run those 70+ maps until i find some people to play with, clearing mazed palace with temporal chains and other stupid shit is not even worth it by myself with the current map droprate :/

Hmm I have the opposite ''problem''
I keep running 66 maps because they still provide good xp..
but every time I do them I get 67/68 maps, or none.
so I have like 6-7 66's maps left and everything else is 67+

Rofl, got hacked while not playing the game for quite some time because of pc troubles, never used any poe fansites besides wiki and only logged in to official poe forums, password was saved in game login screen for a looong time, how does this happen ;O

Maps can be upgraded through recipes. I would suggest thinking about vendoring 3 low level magic maps of the same type and level to get an unidentified magic map with one higher level. It works for whites and rares too or even a compination! It is by far not perfect, but if you get too many maps you cannot trade with other players, it is a possibility.
Punishment is punishing the player using it so you are looking for a masochist. Unless someone is hedging on a future balance patch making it better, it is probably a good idea to keep it untill said patch arrives!
As far as I understand what GGG stated on account hacking, there is a significant part being players playing other games, where security was compromised, with the same password and username.

I didn't play anything else with the same password, that kinda makes that statement false, i scanned my laptop, nothing found and I haven't used pc for a long time because it's broken and pretty much only place where i used that password i last few weeks is poe forums yesterday, so unless I got phished hard, I don't even know :D
Edit: anyways, that screwed me over so hard, since the guy suicided my only hc char as well, bummer.
