Early levels are a pain to say the least. EDIT: btw if we buy an item from micro transaction shop is it one use? Mostly talking about Skelly skin.

From then on it starts rolling. If I remember correctly you can use those cosmetic items as often as you want, but only on one item at a time. It's somewhere in the store FAQ.

@Infernal: You can't ctrl-click to buy stuff from vendors. It only works when selling, when transferring to/from stash, or when trading.

Yes i will probably fail, im prepared for that, but lets see how far this build takes me in HC. Love this game so much, making builds, so much fun. + Show Spoiler + http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEBxthYY1BQPfyMz_ZIfLgpLl8_VEnnUu8Oud3yL3uMIQIq9ueu5FEwGTH7cD6gtPuq8wZXDdIhns2nMPe-FCBQRzbor6IQ8BfcBqI6cTpS37-GYFYEYVKfy2CIKLXvTkCgBS1gS3rvdO2E75uDU99Y24TZrK_nkUd-q8UUUmVNvqfDhiFgdPGeuRjbQ5wOrSmlAecyCRuqiO1tSoE6 If I were you I would drop the defense nodes and get point blank. From my experience, though I never played sword mara, defense does not help you as much as you would think, especially in higher level maps; that, and you already have iron reflexes. However, if you were to get point blank, then LS then becomes that much more powerful... even if you're using swords... which I don't recommend, but to each their own. Also, I am interested in how your build will progress. You seem to have many 1h dmg, and sword nodes. Whilst that will increase your damage, you also need to keep in mind that, in the end game, you will want survivability more than anything. As is, if you were to skip on some of the 1h sword dmg nodes, and the armor nodes, you could easily reach Thick Skin in the Archer tree. Thick skin is really good and it is something that all builds, bar CI builds, should aim for if they are heading into the archer tree. glhf with your build, though. I would say you're on the right track given the gimmicky nature of the build!!!

In the early game those skill nodes and such might help out a lot but at the end game your damage is pretty much all on gear/quality of gems.

Im just tired of maces with ground slam, and just like swords in general, and would like to find a way to utilize them, as well as utilize a decent shield block % as well, so that i can hopefully get a good balance of dmg and survivability. Obviously all this is coming from a noob, my 1st real build ive made by myself. My main problem tho i think will be accuracy, since i want to make use of sword skill points, they all involve accuracy/crit, which means if i took RT, than i would waste points in the sword areas. which is why i decided to take the 1h dmg nodes at the start, giving me some dmg, as well as accuracy with the Versatility node, and it being conveniently next to the shield nodes as well makes it seem fairly efficient. Again, all this coming from me a noob, so any thoughts and criticisms are welcome! Will say tho, making a 1h sword/shield with mara seems hard as hell, but i want to be a true sword and boarder!

I still wouldnt want to play hc all the time. Its so stressfull. It's a matter of risk management. If you level normally, surviving isn't too difficult. The question is how big of a risk you're willing to take in order to improve your ranking. If you take a chance and it pays off, you could leap ahead of the pack. However, if things go wrong, they have a tendency of going horribly wrong, which could cost you your character.

Pretty much; I was initially planning on just farming City of Sarn until end, but I got there with ~1hr15mins left and thought I should try to go all the way. Didn't know that you don't have to do the clarissa quests to get to docks; I realized my mistake when I got the notification "First one to enter Crematorium lvl 1". I beat mouze by only 25k exp, talk about close calls x)
