edit: not the football feast I was expecting. 1st half was quite entertaining, but 2nd half was very flat.

I also liked a lot Nesta and Piqué. Iniesta was probably the weakest for us (Barça).

Yeah, pretty weird how this game ended 0-0 with the chances both sides got.

I don't know whats with Guardiola putting Iniesta on the wing, what a way to waste him specially when the midfield is struggling. He's rarely effective there, and then substituing him for poor performance. What a surprise. Xavi has been carrying the midfield on his back by himself this whole game.

Even as a Milan fan, the foul on Sanchez in the box should really have been a penalty, but I won't complain about it XD I was on my feet cursing at all the wasted chances, especially Ibra and Robinho's early chances in the first half... Overall, I feel this puts Milan in a better position for the match at Camp Nou since Barca has no away goal to put us on edge. If Milan were to score even once in the 2nd leg, Barca will be pressured to score at least 1 more goal.

Also I cant be the only one who noticed they were playing an atrocious pitch ? There were divvets flying all over the place. Your typical "long ball" offense pitch. Fancy Barca at home, Having to take an extra touch all the time is pretty killer if you want to break down defenses as good as Milans was today and they still made chances. Doubt Milan will even get a whiff of the ball next leg with the slicker pitch. They might score but theyll let in a few. Iniesta was a non factor on the flank and playing through the middle wasnt working, if Cesc was available he didnt get the nod because Barca tried to throw in some fresh wide players like Tello and Pedro to stretch the play a bit and run at the defense from the flanks. Makes perfect sense tactly to me. I dont get this "O noes, why no Cesc" when hes obviously not going to be as effective. You dont just blindly make subs because its Cesc. Maybe he could have brought him in for Keita but really he had a sured up midfield and bringing Cesc in doesnt provide the same depth as far as orchestrating the play is concerned compared to Xavi, Cesc has never been as comfortable playing (or as effective) playing from as deep as Xavi does. Xavi was a boss as usual, dont get why anyone would think otherwise. TL:DR, bringing in the wingers was the better option atleast in his head, cant say I dont see the logic. Edit :I dont see how 0-0 is an edge to Milan. It doesnt change the ,equation much Barca still need to win. The only thing a 0-0 does is remove the possibility of extra time in the second leg if a goal is scored. Milan are just happy with the result because they are nowhere near as good as the team they are playing and they know it.
