Made a Nord this morning. He got Marksman and Spear combined with high speed and athletics which means outdoors i can win vs anything slower than me without even getting a scratch because i outrange them like threefold with a spear. For close quarters I got Shortblade. So from the weapon settings he is like a germanic or viking warrior (seriously why did bethesda remove spears, one of the most iconic weapons of warfare?). Right now I am just doing factionless work or for the fighters guild, because I don't want him to get politically involved yet. He is a Nord after all and with the long history of wars between Dunmer and Nords he's rather careful how to act on this foreign soil. Got a nice 100 endurance now at level 4 thanks to spears, medium armor and the lady birthsign, he will have beastly hp soon. Did switch to light armor now to make the most out of the spears. All my spare money goes into training sneaking and longblade and blunt to get a x5 to strength and agility every levelup if my money allows it. I forgot where the scamp with 5000 and the crab with 10000 septims is so i had to sell the sword of white woe for 1500

For modding:
The one mod I can't play without anymore is Galsiahs character development. Removes the stupid leveling a skill just before the level up in order to get x5 on your attributes. Also removes the need to get endurance up as quickly as possible.

Apart from a lot of the graphical improvement mods, morrowind comes alive is one I really like too.
