idk why but im not able to get ultras -_- i have no problem at getting supers like metsu hadoken etc when available.

Are we talking training mode here? because if that's the case you can set it up in training mode options to be infinite. Otherwise I really don't know o_O

Metsu Hadoken is an ultra, not a super.
Supers are the ones that cost all of your EX bars. Ultras use a different meter, called an ultra meter which is filled by taking dmg and focus-absorb damage.
On an entirely different note: WOOOOOH, 20 minutes til SF5 PC BETA!

Beta time boys !!!
edit: now if only I could get in :s

rashid looks way more fun than I thought from his trailer

ugh, open the launcher and I have an update to dl inside it before I can play lol

Nice BETA is up1!! ... The game doesn't recognize my arcade stick, usfiv still does, HMMMMMMMMMMMM excellent work capcom ¬_¬

game seems to have some difficulties to recognize ps3/4 hardware. gotta play w xbox controller for now
|
Sad part is, my stick has 2 PCB, 1 of them is 360

Everything is working fine for me so far. I had one match under water and one that was disconnected but other than that it works fine.
First impression is really good. It really is about as fast as SF4 even though it seems slower at first glance.

you can use joytokey to make your stick work btw. worked for me. here EDIT: buttons the game uses are ghjbnm btw

Game feels good. The laggy matches do not haha. Too spoiled by finding our own customs for so long. Still really fun in the good matches though! Actually finding games FASTER than I'd like, keep getting stuck in matches when I take a char I dont understand yet into training to try out the command list and stuff lol

Surfing the SRK forums I had found the same advise, worked for me too, thanks 2stra

had to use joy2key to get my Hori rap4 kai to work other than that only FPS issues.
my PC is more than capable of handling hte game but i can only get solidish 60 with low everything so the game looks/feels worse than usf4 hah.
oh well probably just poorly optimized right now and i also run crossfire which probably isn't supported. I'll try single GPU and see if that helps for beta.

Am I the only one who finds the combo system to be really simple? It's kind of early to tell for sure but right now it feels closer to Rising Thunder than SF4.
In other news, the beta client has been cracked so you can use training mode as much as you want.

PS4 and Razer stick please...

For those playing SF5 beta, I think there's a way to stay in training mode without being pulled into a match? While recording a dummy I don't get interrupted. Specifically...
- Pause, go to Dummy Settings tab - Set the Status to Playback Recording - Go to Action Recording Settings - Click on "Recording Slot 1"
This will let you "record" the dummy for 100 seconds, after which you can just pause and click on "Recording Slot 1" again. Rinse and repeat. I have yet to find a match while doing this so choose a character you want to practice as the training dummy and play indefinitely, maybe? If you're also playing beta (I'm on PC) try this and share your findings. I find matches pretty quickly when I'm just waiting normally, so this would be a really weird coincidence if I just happened to go that long without a match while recording the dummy.
