Not really no, it's at least 7-3 for Yun and Yang isn't far behind. Ex HB doesn't do much when they can get back in instantly and then you're screwed without meter. Also chop is way too slow to be used on reaction against them.
When the gameplan revolves completely around the assumption that you always have meter, it's a testament to how bad the matchup is.
7-3 seems a bit high, maybe 6-4. I just don't want them to buff honda's damage back to what it was in super and instead tone down the twins. But as a boxer player I know how you feel having your damage nerfed T_T
Honda's damage is fine in AE, but that wasn't his only nerf from Super:
- lp.HB can't be used as an anti-air anymore - j.mp (his best jump-in move) hitbox nerfed - Ultra 2 is no longer a 0-frame grab like Gief and T.Hawk, you can jump out of it after the startup animation now - HHS does less chip damage - Blocked HHS lost some of its frame advantage
+ overall damage nerf. That's a lot of nerfs for someone who wasn't S-tier to begin with.

Honda definitely could use his tools back but so could a lot of characters. I wouldn't be too sad if they just made it the same game as super but with the new characters added, I feel like super was much more balanced.

what is the significance of the godsgarden tournament?
|
On August 21 2011 02:44 GTR wrote: what is the significance of the godsgarden tournament? Significance? It's basically the tournament with the highest quality of players in it. At least this time, considering that there were qualifiers for the last four spots. Not _that_ many top players are missing, Kazunoko even went to practice on console for this(he plays arcade only). Tougeki isn't as good(this time Mago, Tokido and Daigo don't even participate) and EVO is obviously not.
