It's bad like others have said. I have heard that it's downright impossible to finish without it because it gets so buggy especially during the end stages.

Yea, thanks for the heads up everyone that replied to me. Still waiting on the download, don't know why the download is going so damn slow, I could have downloaded the game itself 100x over by now. But oh well, in happier news I think the team I'm in for the monster mini game legit broke the game today we are currently at level 108070... And still going at the rate of about 7-8 levels a second lol.

I really thought 108k was pretty damn good, considering we're blasting through a boss every 3 seconds or so :S 64 million is insanity!

Pretty bad. The devs went bust after this game because all 3 games they made were bugfests that community needed to fix afterwards. Technically, it's because no publisher would take their "Fallout 3" pitch (technically just a post-apocalyptic wasteland RPG--but Tim Cain revealed that it would have been FO3 if Bethesda hadn't won the bid for the IP) and they ran out of money without a game to work on. The lukewarm response to their previous titles thanks to the bugs isn't directly responsible for them going under, but probably contributed to the lack of faith by publishers in their work. Even despite the bugs in their prior releases, the fact that they couldn't get a publisher to buy into a Cain/Boyarsky/Anderson Fallout spiritual sequel seems insane to me. RIP Troika
Bloodlines sequel by the same team that made the first is on my top 3 of imaginary games i wish existed for sure.
Also yeah people 'broke' the steam minigame quite a while back, rooms in the high millions exist. (In an 8 million room myself)

IIRC the dev of Axiom Verge had said on twitter that it wouldn't be on sale until later this year (Fall, I think). It's only been out for a little over a month, so not terribly surprising to see it still at full price imo.

Well its a good entry in my opinion, I played 1, 3, 4, (there's another one here but I don't know which one), and now 8 (I actually just removed from my computer). It's a good time sink game where you don't really want to think too hard and just go ham. The game itself can get pretty complicated with its weapon system. I do like how they made the game more accessible or rather brought forth some of information that was buried in UI before.
I want to say its worth the sale price in terms of pure play time. The missions aren't totally brain dead later on and have diverging paths at times for unlocks. Some of the tougher objectives to unlock the best in slot weapons for each character can be challenging. A decent number of things to fill your time with, but nothing too deep in this game after the campaigns.

Before Steam sales existed "i'll buy this game because I want it"
During the first few sales "wow, so cheap, I will only buy during sales"
Current sales "i'm going to wait a year for this to get even cheaper"

Someone wanted Ori, well... there you go

the story is some weird chinese thing, it leads to battles where you select a guy you want to play and then you fight in that battle and typically you have objectives like break a dam, duel a general, rescue troops.... There are thousands of idiot troops on each side and a few dozen real fighters.
Its not mechanically very hard like darksouls or DMC 3/4, but its kinda fun and there are like 80 chars and weapons and most are very unique.
The one thing i dont like is that difficulty doesnt scale with level, so at the low lvls medium difficulty is ok, but then after a few levels its too steamroll and you need to switch to a harder one. And if you start with a hard difficulty, its almost impossible to win and fights take an hour.
There is also empires where you can make your own guy and make your own story.

100% this. So good I bought it again for iPad. An incredibly elegant, tight game that has unbelievable replayability.

Seriously if you're splitting hairs over 2 dollars you're not in a financial position where you should be spending on video games anyway
